I used to have one. Had nothing but problems and absolutely sucked at highway speeds. Could not go over 55mph comfortably because it had a 4000rpm redline, 3.70 axle, and no overdrive. Trust me, you aren’t missing much.
The style of the 60 is my favorite, but for the reasons listed is why I'm buying an 80. I love watching the repowered 60s on bring a trailer, but those fully redone go for insane prices.
Getting this 80 for a steal, only thing not stock is a 2" lift. Almost all the mechanical stuff has been replaced by someone I know. Will pop a new head unit in it (the factory ones display is out but works), eventually replace the 30 year old speakers and sound deaden the doors when I do that, and likely get it reupholstered. After that just keep it pretty and on the road.
This will be my daily driver. I work from home and live in the city, so I don't drive much

But most importantly, you definitely do NOT want to put a lower price on the bill of sale than you actually paid for the vehicle. You most certainly don’t want to save yourself some money on tax. For example, if you pay 10k, definitely do NOT put $3k on the bill of sale. You would not want to save yourself money on taxes, would you? That would just be wrong!
I would NEVER commit such atrocities...

Registration process is pretty standard for most states. As long as the GA title is signed and dated by the seller, you're set. The BOS is meant to formalize the sell amount for tax purposes. BOS isn't needed in GA since they charge a wickedly overpriced ad-valorem tax, but I think you'll want it in Louisiana. Have him write it out to you for $1
Thanks for this information. I just wanted to ask because it would be a pain in the arse if we missed one little signature. We'll get the bill of sale notarized and he'll sign and date the title. I'm definitely going to a privately operated OMV to avoid dealing with State Employees.

Buying a vehicle private party out of state

I'm in Louisiana and am buying an old Land Cruiser from a friend in Atlanta this weekend. He has title in hand and I'm paying cash for it. We will have a bill of sale and get it notarized, and he will sign over the title to me.
Is a notarized bill of sale and title (plus proof of my insurance on it) all I need to get it registered here in Louisiana?

Just downloaded and started playing this week. Still don't know what I'm doing besides trying to get all the benches and the chicken upgraded and following the tasks I get. Game is well done, there's always tension bases of the potential that someone can be friendly or kill you. or both lol

If it is possible for these celestial data centers to orbit at a speed that would keep them in the shaded/dark side of earth at all times, wouldn't that solve the cooling issue that make data centers high electricity and water consumers? -250f on the shaded side should keep things nice and cool. +250f on the sunny side, not so much.

re: In less than one year, Voyager 1 will be one light-day from Earth.

At Voyager1's speed(38,000ish mph), it would take 77,380 years to get to Proxima Centauri B (4.24 lightyears away), the closest potential habitable exoplanet.
We ain't going nowhere lol
ETA - For reference, Apollo 10 was the fastest humans have travelled in a man made craft at about 25,000 mph.

I remember winning that one at the Thibodaux Firemans fair by shooting a miniature basketball into the small hoop 3 times in a row. The good old days.

If I play a game and quutto menu, I have to restart the game to be able to select anything from the menu. Seeing alot of people with this issue.
Hope they fix this quick or people will bail. I'm already in bf6 3x. Once on steam and my pc played it like shite. Once on Xbox, and the old lady took that over, and again on ps5 so I can play lol.

My biggest complaint with EA/DICE games is spending all their time on aesthetics and polish instead of fixing the actual core mechanics of the game. I don't get it. It's like polishing a turd.
Seriously. I would love to see what their testing protocols are like prior to a release. I work in a quasi-tech related position, and ANY update we receive from the SaaS items we use are thoroughly tested prior to accepting and rolling them out to our company.
I know people joke that in gaming the users are the testers, but damn, make sure something as vital as the main menu is functioning before pushing a 17gb update.

The new update including the frozen maps seemingly has frozen everything lol. I played one or 2 games, but any time I return to the home screen, clicking on any multiplayer option puts me on the battlepass screen. Looks like a bunch of people are having this issue with the menu screen
ETA - the snow/freezing maps are really cool though. Your goggles start to freeze, restricted FOV, I figured out going near a burning barrel defrosts them.

re: White House Advisers Tasked with Finding Way to Lower Soaring Beef Prices
Posted by GEAUXLPOST on 12/8/25 at 8:41 am to ragincajun03
All of this stems from large corporations in Ag buying up the small guys and resulting in lack of competition. Farmers are squeezed on both ends. There are now only a handful of seed and materials providers. Their prices have soared because there is no competition. On the other end, there are only a handful of buyers for the end product. They tell the farmers what they will give them for the product. They can also do this because there is no competition.
Farmers have zero leverage either way due to monopolies on each end. They are losing money and the number of farms in the US has plummeted. Instead of stepping in and stopping this, the Government gives them subsidies, which those subsidies end up going straight from the the farmers to the large corporations to cover debt that the farmers have with them due to their monopolistic positions. In my opinion, this is damn near money laundering from the US Govt to the big boys in AG (Bayer, Corteva, Syngenta Group, BASF). They know the "subsidies" are going straight to these huge corporations, and not really the farmers.
Bringing in exported beef isn't a solution either, that just undercuts the US farmers by purchasing from their competitors who don't have to follow the same laws as them.
