I’ve seen my school win two national championships and 6 SEC championships in football during my life. What about you?

Seven national championships & 12 SEC championships for me.
It should be a means to assist one in need, not enable a lifetime of repeated bad choices. Yes, we help people for a period of stages, but those "benefits" are taxed as income. Everything else is taxed as income, why not this?

I also believe that once you've passed the first stage & aren't ready to take care of yourself, your "benefits" become basically nutritionally nourishing food that's on par with potted meat.

Same for kids, don't care, no more free or reduced lunch at school. They get the potted meat too.

And for those who claim welfare's only a small portion of the economy & not to complain about the money? Go fly a kite. Look at how many of these "people" are on "benefits" producing nothing. Instead of sitting at home watching Equal Justice with Judge Eboni K. Williams, they could be working, producing something. Washing a car, cutting grass, cleaning hotel rooms. They could have a little pride about doing something while simultaneously taking care of themselves. Then maybe the illegals would to go back to Guatemala.
I bet Swalwell is being made an example of & this is a signal from the Democrat Party to Democrat politicians. He didn't get out of a competitive race when told. You either stay in line & do what we say or we'll burn you to the ground.

It's like the apostrophe for White people

So people are leaving leftist run states in droves. Weird.

But will continue supporting/advocating policies that forced them to move in the first place. I saw it happen first hand in metro Atlanta. These people are literal cancers.

This is how one trolls. You act like you're ignorant in your comment then you can't keep the fish off the hook.
If we withdrew & closed Ramstein & Kaiserslautern, those economies would feel it dramatically as it seems like were built around our forces.

Stuttgart losing our two COCOMs would be more easily absorbed. The landlords would have to adjust their overpriced rents & lose the gravy train, but there would be renters available. Same for the blue collar jobs, they'd be available. It's going to depend on the micro region as to the pain felt.

Ramstein would probably convert to another low-cost carrier (like RyanAir) type airport.

I think we're on the same page.

I doubt it would hurt much at all.

It would cost a LOT of jobs for Germans. The Army bases are secured by contracted locals. Many locals work on the bases in the retail stores, facility maintenance, etc.

The local landlords would feel the most pain. They typically charge exorbitant rent prices knowing that the tenants are usually on a three year cycle. This isn't only about the military, there are TONS of civilian workers over there who live in the towns.

German moving companies would take a tremendous hit because of the three year cycle.

Another one is the airlines who'd feel it. Those Lufthansa/Delta flights out of FRA to the U.S. are chock full of military affiliated personnel. Again, because of the three year rotations, but lots go home for vacation or have family visit.

It isn't going to crash the German economy, but there are certain groups who are going to feel it the most. The landlords, the locals who work on the bases, and select moving companies are my big three.
Is the number of federal contract employees rising?
