re: SEC Graveyard

But those programs demand championships. MU does not. We hope to break through but for now if Drink had 3 ten win seasons in a row we are very happy.

I do not believe HCED would use the word “crap” in a press conference to refer to student athletes. Coaches yes athletes no.
What I grew up on !!

But that looks like Michigan !! Blue font
The SEC invited the vampire into their home. Garlic, holy water, and crucifixes will not work on the vampire when you invite him in !!

It’s a state of Missouri thing. It’s cultural. I mean look at the DeWitts and the Royals ownership for examples.

And before that the Bidwill family with the Football Cardinals.
Of the names being thrown out at this time Symons or Leonhard look to be the best of what we would get. Bama and Auburn and who knows who else in the near future will be looking for coordinators. I do not think Bama would go after these two but I can see them going after Muschamp. Auburn alumni is probably looking for a bigger name DC.

Bobby Boucher. Baker blitzed all the time and Boucher is a pressure defense guy.
People bitching that Missouri beat an OSU team with a 2nd and 3rd string QB, starters entering the transfer portal before the bowl game, and players opting out. Well that is today’s college football bowl season. Only 4 teams did not have to worry about that this year.

Next year 12 teams will not have to worry about it.

For all the other bowl games a win is a win.

Missouri will probably do some trick plays we do not need this time around. Get burned on them.

MU. 27
LSU 17

Throw the ball Throw the ball Throw the ball. Navy yes Navy got 133 yards in the air against Memphis. That is probably a 5 game total for Navy.

Missouri 42
Memphis 14
If Burden is half as good as we think he is on this forum our WR's will make our QB (whomever that is) better. 8-4 could happen.
It is all about TV viewership. That is how Missouri got in.
If the SEC sits by and does nothing it will be like the Womens National Soccer team. Winning all the championships but not getting paid.
Add the states of North Carolina and Virginia.

The Pigs are loaded. What is he going to get 7-10 minutes a game?

Would you want Wingo back if Steeples comes to MU??

THIS !! You must reload not rebuild.
Would love to get Lonnie Phelps from Miami (OH). Yes a DE but he makes plays. Move him around and let him make plays. Maybe we can "bundle" the two together (Pace). Like on American Pickers

My favorite Kills is when he said Missouri football is like zombies. When you think you killed us we keep coming. 2013 and 14 season. We were the Z Wars zombies then. Now we are slow easy to knock down zombies.

Probably will have to because of injuries to our backfield. These Bulldogs will be feasting on Tiger blood this Saturday !!!

CBC has some players also. I hope those two teams play every year for the next 5 years. Good game with two good programs.

re: Horn is underrated

Posted by outlawjoseywales on 8/25/21 at 9:52 am to
I watched his game on Saturday. He threw to 6 players so he did not have to depend on his number 1 WR. If CB cannot throw the deep ball Macon or Horn will take his place before he graduates college.

But only has a 4 on the confidence rating. He is just throwing something out there to see if he can get some reaction on where LB is going to go.

Burden picks MU where does that put is in recruiting ranking? Top 10?
Give her a chance and let's see what she can do. No one thought Eli Drinkwitz was a top hire. He seems to be proving us all wrong. On the field and in recruiting.
If Kansas does not get into the Big 10 they will be begging us to play on Thanksgiving weekend. I do not believe it was the football staff that did not want to play us after we left the Big 12. It was Bill Self who runs that athletic department. He did not want our universities every to step on an athletic field or court again.
If we are in the TAMU and Tejas pod then that helps us recruit in Tejas. We have had our best years with the Tejas players on our roster. Going after Georgia and Florida kids did not work out for us.

Do I want to see Tejas and OU every year again, MEH. But it is what it is.
