Frankenstein was good and probably the best retelling of the source material ever with great visuals and cinematography. Could’ve been shorter though.
It felt like an adult animated version of Frankenstein or maybe I’m getting Frankenstein and Nosferatu mixed up. Either way you have to make a masterpiece for those movies to work and they didn’t have it

He’s from South Augusta. He was with Thacker at Georgia Tech during the Collins era.
The era known as The Age of Luxury is approaching—a time when traditional jobs will no longer be necessary.

This has long been anticipated in sci-fi novels

In addition to Gentlemen Bastards and Dungeon Crawler Carl, I would recommend the First Law series.

2026 Oscar nominations

I categorize my movie rankings into three groups: Off the chain, boring, and sucks. For instance, last year's winner, Anora, was off the chain. On the other hand, Oppenheimer, from the year before, sucks. I haven’t been to a movie theater more than once or twice in the past five years, but I still keep an eye out for good movies.

Here are my thoughts on the Oscar nominees for Best Picture:

Bugonia – I haven’t seen it and don’t know anything about it, but I’ll watch it

F1 – boring

Frankenstein – boring / sucks

Hamnet – I’m not sure I want to watch it

Marty Supreme – it’s good, but it feels like a copycat of Uncut Gems style and I believe Uncut Gems does it better

One Battle After Another – boring

Sentimental Value – I haven’t seen it and don’t know anything about it, but I’ll watch it

Sinners – sucks

The Secret Agent – I haven’t seen it and don’t know anything about it, but I’ll watch it

Train Dreams – this is the one I would choose as the winner.

Another good movie that wasn’t nominated: Blue Moon

Once, I accused the cashier at the gas station of stealing my wallet—I thought I had set it down to pay and forgotten it there. I warned him I'd fight him if he didn't return it. But when I went back to the car, I found my wallet inside, so I just drove off.
Jose has like 8 threes and I don’t know how many steals tonight

Chanting ensues in Philly
