I know it’s because we had Gurley, Chubb, and Michel, but I’d like to see us get back to feeding our starter the first quarter and a half, then rest him while the 2/3 backs get reps for the rest of the second and 3rd quarter and then come back with the starter when the defense is gassed

What? He’s physical in the run game but he struggles in coverage. He’s a 5 star athlete, 2 star safety. Lost his starting job down the stretch.

Interesting stat. They left a bit out when you dig deeper.
5 of those 14 came from JMU. 4 of them were recruited out of high school. Of the other 9, only 3 were recruited by Cignetti. The others were already there. So he's responsible for getting 7 of those 14 out of high school and one from JMU.

They’ve stayed, gotten better, and been augmented with transfers. But they’ve hit *big* on HS.
He has brought 5 starters from JMU and has only recruited 3 starters to IU. The rest were already there or transferred in from other schools besides JMU.

Just stop man. You're using high school rankings which doesn't mean a hill of beans when your team is 75% made up of transfers. The issue is you acting like they're lowly rated players that they've coached up when the truth is, they were under rated players with a large portion of them being developed somewhere else and then brought into IU. You're also underplaying the age difference is but whatever.
Cignetti has done a great job, there's no doubt, but stop acting like he's taken a bunch of 2 star players straight from high school and built them up himself.

Monken can be difficult to play for because he is straight forward and doesn't sugar coat anything. Some people can handle it and some can't.
