I agree, and give props to Fox for making adjustments during SEC play (namely going small and running less set plays). That being said, our offensive talent level is very low as Fox just can't recruit the top players we need. He gets those bastards to play defense though.

And yet we hung with #1 Indiana pretty much the whole game on a neutral court and had UCLA on the ropes in the same tourney. College basketball has great parity, this is nothing new.

Great call on Max. I had forgotten about him, he had the coolest voice and knew all the history of football in the south. They don't make them like him anymore, now all we get are dorky blowhards like Colin Cowherd, clown arse buffoons like Ryan Stewart or completely irrelevant, clueless hacks like Skip Bayless.

I wanted them to rehire Goff so we could get back to playing some "physical football". Seriously though I was happy with the hire although at the time I believed that he was a superior playcaller who would liven up our offense. He has turned out to be more of a CEO type of coach.

I was there and most all the fans were standing the whole game when it wasn't a tv timeout. Dome was as loud as I've ever heard it. Loudest Atlanta crowd I've been at was 1992 game 6 of the world series though. Otis Nixon got a hit that sent the game into extra innings and the stadium was so loud that I was yelling and couldn't even hear myself. Hopefully the crowd will be similar tomorrow.

Spread is based on public perception more than the actual metrics. SF is far more of a public team than ATL and just knocked off the second most public team (to NE). They don't want to overexpose themselves by taking too many bets on SF hense the inflated line. If this line truly rises to 4.5 the professional gamblers' loot will pour in on the birds.

Dawgs lost two games. I don't blame him for USC as our whole team sucked arse and he had no time. Bama game he played well enough to win and if our D had stopped their run even a little bit in the second half we would be getting ready to whoop ND just like Bama will. Dude led the nation in passing efficiency. What more do you want?

Vanderbilt and the Nerds both won bowl games today fairly easily. UGA beat these two teams by a combined score of 90-13. That's all I got.
