Pretty much the same team

Both 10-7, both 1-3 in the league, but somehow we are an 11.5 point favorite. Minnie Pearl needs to show something at home today.

LSU not doing the right thing

Honestly have they ever? They always seem to be on the side of grifting in pretty much any policy matter.
I don’t think there’s any real credible way to rank transfer portal classes

I think a lot of people forget (me included, until I watch highlights) how good he was in 2013.

We got on a roll after the Miss State game and Mason was impossible to stop. He could split a seam better than any back we’ve ever had. Just needed two inches and boom he was through there.
I’m not a cruise guy at all, went on one cruise many many years back and I swore it off for good, but I’ve been told that the exception of the rule is the Alaska cruises.

Jackson Arnold made the OL look worse than they were.

Or was it that the OL made him look like Arnold Jackson?

Damn… I stepped away for a couple days and Drago out here murdering the game.

The PE firms are already involved in the broadcast rights. Back when I was in the sports marketing business, Forstman Little bought Learfield, then went bankrupt. Learfield has flipped a bunch of times. PE firms have bought and sold rights holders for years.

The PE model is criminal. 1%ers create a fund, startup “shell company” then that shell company goes out and buys companies (preferably with some brand equity and a customer base), funnels the money up the food chain through “management fees“ to the 1%ers. They strip the quality of service and products to the bone and then when the company doesn’t make it, they bankrupt the shell company to absolve themselves of any accountability. Middle management and workers lose their jobs, 1%ers keep the fees, set up another shell company, and rinse repeat. It’s a fricking scam.

Side note…People bitch about the rising cost of healthcare as if it’s a government problem as if the politicians can solve it, but rarely mention that the real trouble is with these vermin PE firms stripping access and quality of care from people, all to make the 1% richer.

Okay I feel better now

Rant on [off]
For the life of me, I don’t understand Auburn fans that think this way. Move to the ACC? That’s a scared bitch move. I could give two fricks about watching Auburn play Syracuse and NC State. I have my problems with the SEC, but moving to the ACC would just be stupid.

What school is he at that season?

What the hell are you talking about? I am assuming you didnt listen to the link.

I did listen to the link, and I am agreeing with you.

I too do not think we are melting. Which is why I think the term “melting“ is silly“. Cole is playing radio. When people express concerns or opinions, that’s just what they are. And this is the form for it. It’s not a melt.

Regarding Coleman, I said from the beginning of the season that I thought it was silly how he was dressing, wearing pink headwear and designer watches on the field, etc. I did not think he was a team player from the get-go. But then that’s the culture Freeze cultivated.

Dallas Walker is applying for another year

That would be huge. On what grounds is he applying for another year? I don’t know his story.

melting

Such a silly term. This is a message board for crying out loud. People have discussions on here. People share opinions here. That’s pretty much it. That’s the whole business model.

I went to Auburn during the Pat Dye transition and just long for his toughness...."I don’t know if we’re going to win, but when we get through, they’ll know they’ve been in a football game".

And that ‘83 team was loaded with NFL talent on offense like Tommie Agee, Lionel James, Bo Jackson, Steve Wallace, Ben Tamburello, Ed West, Ron Middleton, Chris Woods, just off the top of my head.

Better squad than auburns put on the field since 2019 even with all the 5 stars you’re fooled by

Hey I hope so. I am merely pointing out that we are rolling into an SEC football season with essentially a G6 core of talent level on offense (with the exception of RB where we’re loaded). Them’s the facts. Hope it works.
So of the 13 USF players we’ve signed, 11 are on offense, which means we’re rolling into the 2026 9-game SEC season with essentially a G6 offense that mustered 18 points vs UF and 12 vs Miami in their two P4 games.

We are getting smoked for OL. No spinning it.

Could it have something to do with our OL Coach being about 2 years older than the players he’s recruiting?
You would think they could use an academic eligibility clause and have the universities establish universal academic requirements to help keep some of this in check.

In real life, if my kid wants to transfer to another school, he is required to hit certain benchmarks, credit hours, applicable classes to his major, etc. to be eligible for that transfer. Not sure why it’s different if they are “student/athletes“.

But then we all know that they really aren’t “student/athletes“. They are paid professional athletes, and they are having someone else log in and take their ‘classes’ on line.
