I have voted in every election since 1988, local, state, and national. I even vote in the local crappy runoff elections. And I will continue to until I die.
That being said, I have no idea if my vote counts. I have no idea voting even matters anymore. Maybe it still does hyperlocally… and I mean at the neighborhood and maybe county level tops. If I had to guess I’d say every other level election it is wayyyyy downstream of a decision that has already been decided from all of the propaganda and frickery. All the institutions are so abhorrently corrupt that tallying votes merely serves as a CYA for one side or the other, rather than a true tally of a free and fair election.

I disagree. Only way to maintain sanity is to be an independent. If your political ideology becomes your identity you're screwed. You have to maintain political independence, in order to critically think. Otherwise you get pulled to the poles of being a pre-programmed cuck woke-bot or a sycophant maga stooge.
