For those who don't believe the actually cost associated with a nutural site game. It's the exact same model as a bowl game. Team gets a payout but they charge the school for tickets.

I agree with you gfunk. The one thing that they didn't tell you is that it cost about 2 million as well to travel the team, band, and it's entourage. So that's only a net income of about 2 million. It makes no sense to travel and impact someone else's economy (Houston or Dallas) when it's the state of Louisiana and mainly the Baton Rouge business that support LSU athletics. These local businesses are the ones who support the program and donate money to their causes (TAF), and give the Athletes summer jobs. I found it appalling that the university choses to dilute the at home schedule to travel away for a game. The economic impact of one home game has to be in the 10's of millions of dollars when you consider the food & beverages sold for tailgates, restaurants serving meals, hotel stays, fuel at gas stations for travel, etc. when you take this out of state you are stealing from the ones that support the program. LSU is not "dancing with the one that brought them to the dance." Not to mention the watered down schedule with 4 weak games is a joke. It draws no attendance for the university to up sell concessions and merchandise and hurts the local businesses as well. Sorry for the rant, but I'm shock to see that people don't see the effect of moving a game out of state!
Thats what he said last year before the 2012. Loser (miles) always says "well we will get them next year". He says anything to detract from the obvious truth. We had tons of talent this year with horrible coaching. In 4 of the 10 wins; I had to look up where the team we were playing was located. What a joke!!!!

Scout says 5.3 but I have heard from insiders at LSU that it is 5.8

LSU offensive problems

Problems:

#1 LSU offense is run by two former offensive linemen. Its obvious with these two goofs calling the shots we will never be a great offensive team. Everyone outside our program can recognize the amount of talent we have on our team. Its obvious they do not know how to use our personel. Most NCAA teams get better production with less talent. We know they have less talent because the recruting classes are graded and we finish high every year. We should be better than average no matter the situation. Injuries or not. We looked better with 2 freshmen starting than we did with the older more experienced players who got injured.

#2 Play action pass: All these two goofs talk about is having a better play action passing game and they cant coach on how to run a play action play.

Our QB runs a 5.8 40 yard dash. (super slow) Miles and Stud have our running back standing 7 yards deep and obviously tell him not to move until Mett gets to him with the ball. Once Mett gets to the RB with the fake then the Runnig Back can try and go get his block. STUPID. The running back should be running foward towards the fake hand off and hitting a hole making the defense hesitate, react, respect the hand off. Not so against LSU. Every defensive lineman is taught to follow the ball. So the defender is speed rushing a slow QB the first 7 yards (QB is running BACKWARDS) then by the time it gets faked to the Rb the defender has our QB on his ARSE. They don't make $4,000,000 a year, but any pee wee coach can draw up a play action pass better than these 2 goofs.

The only thing miles does well is recruit and run the program. Like a good CEO. Every business needs a good face and a little personality. Miles has that but nothing else. Its in LSU and Miles' best interest for miles to act only as a Manager. Make a good hire and let the new guy do his job. He also needs to be schooled in clock management again. I.E. VS. Clemson. Running on the last 2nd and 3rd down plays may or may not get a first down, but either way the clock expiring would have beat clemson even if clemson had the ball. The pass plays were open but just not a smart decision. JUST STUPID. Dont forget Stupid cost us the ALABAMA game too. Not the last play everyone wants to talk about. How about the fake feild goal with a 4 and 12 on a makeable feild goal try. Then actually try to kick a 52 yarder on 4th and 2. Again i dont make 4,000,000 but i would fake the 52 yarder and hope to get 2 yards vs 12 and attempt the close range field goal and take the points instead of a fake on 4th and 12.

LSU had 48 offensive plays and Clemson had 100. Thats bad Offense.

Did anyone notice the same things?
