Jesus indulged Thomas when he needed proof to believe.

Evidence reinforces faith and can be tremendously helpful to those who want to believe but are Thomases.

It is certainly helpful to have evidence-based show-and-tell items such as archeological findings. It is encouraging for all, believer and possible believer! As a believer, it's an 'I told you so' moment. For the possible believer, it is one more finger through a wound.

I have not seen any evidence at all for anything in the BoM or the Koran. None! So false beliefs they are in my book.
And what the heck is your point? Have you ever heard of false beliefs? Let me guess, you're going to find a 'better word' for that, right?! I have not said that people can't have their beliefs, but I did say that beliefs can be founded on erroneous facts. For one thing, I would love to see a single shred of proof that anything in the BoM is remotely true. But I digress! Yes, believe all you want, but don't be surprised when arguments are brought up that offer opposing views.

Good luck with your beliefs, and I will continue to point out the holes in those other false beliefs. Feel free not to read!
Did you even read his post or are you just reacting?

He said the BoM is the sequel to the NT. No Christian believes that, there is no sequel to the NT. The BoM being a sequel to the NT is a belief, not a fact. Get it?
You mean the importance of eschatology in Jesus' second coming?!?! Little dude, don't try to compensate by being so full of yourself.
Careful now, you may be dealing with a Bible 'expert.'
Well, since you believe the Book of Mormon is something other than science fiction, I will not even attempt to understand whatever information you are trying to bring to the table.
Oh dear, wouldn't want to put you in an 'uncomfortable' position, not online!

Hope you never have to dissuade someone from converting to islam!
There seem to be quite a few people wondering about your competence today! Clearly, when pushed, all you can respond with is infantile insults and illusions of expertise. Sad!
But if there are clear errors and arguments to back those errors, they must be pointed out so people are not being misled.

Just as there are arguments for combating the Satanists, the JWs, etc. so there are arguments for combating the muslims.

As for beliefs yes, we live in a country where we can still believe anything we want. Still!
Wait! (not that this has anything to do with the subject of this post, but anyway...) Are you saying that the God of the Old Testament is not the God of the New Testament? Because, if you are, we have a problem.
Have at it with that guy, he's been asserting theological authority all day under a different post. Good luck trying to get rational answers!
In your opinion as a.....what, certified theologian?!?!
What in the world are they lacing her communion wafer with?!?!
Are you going to find the correct answer through the process of elimination?!?! :rotflmao:

'cause I'm not Lutheran either.
Of course no Jewish theologian will argue that their God had a son.

But as someone else already asked, is the New Testament not based on the Old Testament? How, then, is that not a Judeo-Christian legacy?!?!

Now you answer this: Was Jesus a Jew? Yes or no.

I was emphasizing just one small way that the Christian God is in no way related to the muslim deity.
'Mate,' I am not Evangelical. Joke's on you!
Yes, He's one of the 3 manifestations of God known as the Trinity.
Haha, I knew that sooner or later any pretension of civility would go poof and you'd revert to sad little vulgarities and insults.

When you use their sources to prove their assertions, do look in the mirror and say 'stupid.'

Ciao!
Thank you for the clip!

Not sure how this undermines Kirk's being given the post-humous award. Even the closes allies and supporters disagree at times. And yet supporters remain supporters. I think this is what the award shows.
And I am pointing out that your source for saying they ARE makes your argument circular. Is there a market for paid islam apologists?!?!
