So for all of you who think LSU should not have let Wade go, what would you have done? The evidence against him is mountainous. Do you really think the school would fare better if we stuck with him until they totally throw the book at us?
And watching a Will Wade coached game can be excruciating. We lost at least 5 or 6 games this year at the end due to his ineptitude. We should have 27 or 28 wins. It is street ball.

I guess all you Wade lovers have not read the long list of serious violations the man committed. So you blame the administration for getting rid of him. This is very serious. The NCAA will hammer LSU Athletics over the Insitutional Control Issue so they are being proactive and doing what any good business person would do and that is damage control. SW didn't create this. He inherited it. I trust him to guide LSU out of these difficult times.
Have some pride in LSU. Is this the kind of name and program you want? It's not what I want. Better days are ahead. This has to be done.

Man I just don't get all the love for Wade. He is not a great coach. It is street ball. We will find a better coach. :geauxtigers:
Well Dale Brown made a Final Four and Brady made a Final Four. Dale Brown was not a great coach but he did recruit well and had some really good teams. He didn't reach his potential but he was a good guy.
I think we are going to find an awesome coach and become a real basketball school. I see this as an opportunity. Woodward is a really smooth AD and he probably already has some ideas.

What has Wade done beside cheat in recruiting? What has it gotten him? We don't run an offense. We don't know how to block out and rebound. We don't know how to guard a 3 point shot. For a lot of his time we didn't have an inbounds play and many times could not get the ball in. Sweet 16 means you made it to the real top 32. That's the best he has done right? If that was football we would be crying. :wah:

I like it. Wade is a mediocre coach. We get to fire him for cause. We don't have to pay him out. Woodward will go and hire a great coach. As an LSU alum. Wade is an embarrassment to me. This may be the last of the coaches from the previous era who needed to go. I think the future will be bright for LSU Basketball.
Other schools cheat too. I get it! Let's move on and clean this up.
