I guarantee you that Deuce Knight is not expecting to sit on the bench next season. At worst, he is wanting a completely transparent QB1 battle with he and whomever is brought in start out on equal footing. If he loses the battle for QB1 no matter how fair the competition, he is going to whine and put Ole Miss on blast on his social media. That is just who DK is. I am glad he is gone from AU as my post history indicates. He is one of those guys who is all about the $. He cares nothing about Ole Miss, AU or any team other than what he can get. Good luck with him.

Looks like UK is handing everyone their asses, not just AU, when it comes to high profile OL recruiting. Our "all world" OL we bought for 2025 sucked out loud. I am fine going into the season with some USF guys on the OL.
I agree, but I am afraid that is probably not happening again. Can't put the Genie back in the bottle.

This is a true and fair statement from Jones. You do need someone who stirs stuff up just to get some traffic on the board. I prefer when someone stirs stuff up with actual info. Metafour is a good example of someone who definitely stirs stuff up, but he backs the stuff he stirs up.

Sidewalk fans are perfectly fine and we need all of them. I would just prefer not having emotional fragile sidewalk fans trolling the board. Obviously, what I prefer means nothing so there is always that.

The difference is that you aren't daily whining and crapping on a new coach multiple times daily before the entire player procurement process has occurred. I have always remembered you to present logical arguments whether I agreed with them or not and you don't devolve into name calling, etc.
I hear you about AUFamily as I was permabanned for calling Gus autistic. That board has done a 180 since then. It is much more like this one now. They let me come back after 6 years.

Yep! As someone who rips on Mike g all of the time; he and his crew have been very down on Simmons and pretty calm all things considered about the players declaring for the portal thus far. Here is huge props from me to Mike g!

I don't care whether this is a board for AU grads or not. I do believe, that if you graduated from AU, you have more deserving to complain or have input on a situation regarding AU.
When the constant whining and complaining comes from posters who never attended AU; then yes, their opinion means much less to me than someone who attended and graduated from AU. Having kids that also graduated from AU are bonus points. Just let me know if I can answer any more questions. I appreciate your asking. BTW, those pictures you posted of your shop looked great. I am starting to play around with car detailing as a hobby and would love to build out a car detailing shop one day.

I agree, yet AUFamily have come a long way since I returned from a permaban in October. There are some of the same type posters on that site now as on here in terms of lack of emotional and mental bandwidth. I would guess many of those posters are like the ones on here, not actual AU grads.
You weren't being spoken too son. Let the grownups have a discussion.

I am not a fan of banning anyone. However; we do have a few posters who have the emotional and logical thinking bandwidth of a middle schooler. I will not suffer such foolishness when directed at me. Some of the most vocal middle schoolers on the site never even attended AU so makes them even less worthy of time spent putting up with them. Sometimes, it takes dropping down to their level which I will so if I have to. This board and every board I have ever posted on is 100 percent purely entertainment for me.

Thanks for the info.
We have fans who have the emotional bandwidth of a middle schooler. I would hope they wait until after Jan. 2 and after Golesh has at least coached a practice not to mention some games in the fall before they start self harming. He is re-recruiting this team and making his evaluations off of film and interviewing. Now, we may not agree with his evaluations but we don't mean shite. This team is filled with guys who only know how to lose games. They needed to be culled. USF last season would have won more games playing AU's schedule than this team of all stars did that these hang wringers want to keep at all costs. Yes, we have pussies galore on here enough to cast another Bond movie.
I really don't understand how, since we have sucked for at least 6 years, anyone can believe we had a roster that would give us 8+ wins. That roster sucks in terms of knowing how to win games. On both sides of the ball. Hell, I am not even a big Durkin fan, as I think we were average on D and will continue to be as long as Durkin is DC. I expect Durkin to be gone after this season. It can only help to get an infusion of guys from elsewhere and for that to happen, we need players to get the heck out. I think Golesh was an outstanding hire and I was a Sumrall guy initially. Let Golesh coach a little and see what actually happens when we Tee It Up in the fall before we look dumb screaming about falling skies.
Only Blocton deserves to be in bold now. As someone else posted; it is only going to be bad news until Jan. 2. We have a very vocal, emotionally weak, minority on here and in the podcast sphere who have the emotional bandwidth of a 6th grader.
Been married 38 years to a fellow AU grad chief. Don't be tellin me shite about stepping my game up.
