Reaves in the game just means JJ has piled every lever he can. There are no moves left.
I agree about Yamin. I’d like to see him get more opportunities. The few he has gotten, he’s done pretty well.

I have watched every game this year, except the couple early season games that were not on the espn platform.
At least half the games they lost, they arguably should have won. Like Vanderbilt, they have the lead and then Guidry gives up the walk off.
They make errors and give up walks and fumble it away. They have one bad inning and fumble away what should have been a win.
Many games they left a bunch of runners on, did a good job putting the bat on the ball, but hit it right at people and couldn’t string together multiple hits.
I think it’s in their head now, and I don’t know if they can turn it around, but I feel like if you could restart the season back at the point they were 8-0, it could be a whole different season, with the same players. You can’t. That’s just life.

I won’t quit following them, even if completely eliminated from contention.
My belief in a turnaround is growing slimmer. - I still don’t get it- I think they have a ton of talented pieces. A tons of talented arms… but just can’t get it put together. I don’t understand why.
I don’t think Pearson is great at 3rd, but he is serviceable. 2nd base- Dardar and Simpson should both be decent enough.
Milam is great Braun is getting there.
We just can’t put it together consistently. I don’t understand why.
I think Jay’s comments last night were pointed for a reason. I think it was meant as a challenge to those guys. We will see how they respond.

Our pitchers give up first batter walks and then give up hits and Sac flies behind them allowing the other team to capitalize on free base runners.
We can’t seem to do the same.
