Yeah there is a direct correlation to cost of roster and results on the field. Just look at LSU last year.

I think LSU was the only team in top 5 portal rankings last year to not make the playoffs so I’d say it’s somewhat related to results on the field.
Monday playoff game needs to go away. 3 Saturday 3 Sunday. Each conference has a day so every team is on at least full game week going into each game.

Lots of short field possessions from ducks turnovers. Their offense was still very good when it needed to be.

Oregon routinely shits the bed against physical teams. Not sure if it’s a culture thing or they just don’t get maulers in the trenches. I thought their D was pretty solid all year until tonight

That receiver for Miami, Toney (?sp) was 11 years old when Beck was a freshman in college.

I was halfway expecting ole miss to complete that pass at the end. Had a damn good shot. Chambliss is fricking awesome. OM defense was on the field for almost 90 plays. That’s brutal.

$5 million to bring a QB into the SEC who with the draft's WR1 managed to go 20-42 151 yards 1 TD 2 INT in 2 games vs Mississippi State

He had Texas a 4th down away from being beaten last year in the playoff.
He’s coming off a Lisfranc so there’s definitely reason for some skepticism, but LSU needed a QB with experience which is what they got.
Ole miss has the best player on the field and he gets the ball every play. Miami might have a better overall roster but Chambliss equalizes that to some degree. I’m leaning rebels in this game. I trust Chambliss exponentially more than Beck. If rebs can control the canes D line somewhat, Chambliss will figure out how to score.

The pick 6 was the difference

Sure was. I’m convinced that defender knew that play before the snap. Great awareness.

t's more to do with the teams with byes being super overrated. Indiana fits in that category too.

They beat OSU and Oregon and are undefeated. What do you believe is their appropriate ranking?
It wasn’t a penalty. Think the ref got confused bc he lined up inside green but was off the line. Green was on the line and blocked so sharp was a legal pass catcher on the play.
Average bonus of over $400k spread out over 4-5 years I think. Will truly change the lives of many of those people. And he did it in a way so that the tax burden on those receiving the bonus would be less. Class act.

why is that? there is a legitimate need for pain management, not the pharmaceutical industry's fault that individuals abuse them

Purdue Pharma committed numerous ethical violations along with knowingly making false claims about the safety profile of their drug along with essentially bribing the FDA. All while ignoring mountains of data regarding the extremely addictive properties of their drug. Plenty of reasons not to trust them.

Dude is cringe as shite with the whole Mahomes wannabe thing and isn’t nearly good enough for people to look past it. Seems he’s a bit of a headache as well.

Almost everyone I know who has torn a pec (its a bunch) all did it with flat barbell bench. I quit doing them a longtime ago. Just not worth it especially if going heavy

I can relate to this with first hand experience. Tore pec and partial bicep tendon on a flat barbell bench with I think 275# on there. Did my first set and was fine, so like a young and dumb 20 year old, went up 20 pounds and coming down for third rep I heard it and certainly felt it. Luckily I was smart enough to have my buddy spotting me. Never had the same strength and stopped barbell flat bench from that day forward. Can’t believe it’s already been 20 years since I did it.

He’d be insane to entertain leaving Bama I just don’t see it.

Outside of the pressure of following Saban, which was going to be impossible for whoever they hired, it’s a great job honestly and I think he’d be crazy to go to basically a lateral move I would think. Bama football has plenty of money and are still recruiting at an elite level. Who knows though, it really comes down to the individual and what they think is best for them.
The season is starting a week later due to Labor Day being the latest it can possibly be I believe. Last year September 1 was Labor Day and the earliest it can fall so there was an extra week essentially.

Could you explain this to me like I'm Kalen Deboer

Made me laugh pretty loudly. Have an upvote.

And he throws a 70-yard pick 6.

That was a goofy play. Just threw another pick on a tipped ball too. 2 consecutive plays.
When IU stopped the bucks on that 3rd and goal in the 4th and every aspect of that play was covered and defended perfectly at every level. They are never going to be outcoached and their defense is salty as shite. They have a real chance to win the whole damn thing.
About 20% of the world’s population is considered white. These people act like being of color is some unique achievement that only few can relate to when the opposite is true.
