We had mice issues a few years ago. They were having babies faster than I could catch them on the glue traps. My brother got mad at me bc I was just tossing the glue traps with mice stuck to them in the outside garbage apparently the "humane" thing to do is fold the glue trap over and "pop them like little water balloons" before you throw them away. Gross. Anyhow, we stopped them with in a few days by buying some pellets in a green box (some kind of poison) from lowes and tossing them all over in the attic. The little a-holes come inside during the winter, so try and kill them soon before they start multiplying!!

Not cool at all. I don't see anything funny about wanting something to suffer godawfully for a long period of time, either.

I actually agree with your brother. In fact, I would have slapped you over the head for doing that. Typically, a mouse on a glue trap will live for as long as a few days on it, frightened out of its mind and pissing all over the trap. During which it'll struggle so much that it'll pull parts of itself off, breaking its bones and gnawing off a limb to escape. Eventually, it'll starve to death.

It's a slow and painful death. What kind of douchebag throws out a glue trap like that without putting the animal out of its misery anyway? That's torture. I don't even agree with glue traps (IMO, they should be outlawed), snap traps are a lot better.

Really disgusting/cruel way to kill anything, so good on your brother for giving you a lecture. I certainly would have.
