There are several parts that go into the whole here. How good is he as an in game bench coach? How good is he at recruiting and roster management. Game planning? Does he play the right guys at the right time and put the guys he has in the best position to win. Does he promote the program, engage with the fan base and big boosters well, use the media to his advantage in promotion of the program. Help effectively raise funds to help his program?

Of this list, how can an argument be made that he is even average at any of these things besides possibly in game bench coach? And that would only be because there are multiple examples of the team playing better in the second half of a game than they did after a horrendously terrible first half. And the horrendously terrible first half is due to a combination of being legitimately bad at most of the other things you listed.

That people went to a T&F event in Japan? But yeah all 80k were clearly there to watch pole vaulting

Mr. Worldly, trying reading this statement again and see if you can figure out what you’re missing:

“That’s 80,000 people in Tokyo last year, stating after the rest of the competition is over and watching only him in that stadium. When has Justin Jefferson ever kept 80,000 people in a stadium by himself?”

Btw, where is that video?

quote:

Never claimed to be “worldly.” But maybe don’t say stupid shite like “says the guy who’s never been outside the US” as if you’re so cultured you fricking chode

Maybe don’t say ”Guys like Justin Jefferson are far more recognized worldwide” if you don’t like any people to recognize you’ve never been out of the us.

quote:

No a pole vaulter is not more popular worldwide than the biggest sports stars in this country. He’s just not.

And this too.

quote:

Yes T&F is more popular in Europe than it is in the US.

And Asia. And Africa. And Australia.

How many people do you reckon live on those other little continent things?

Where’s the video of Justin jefferson keeping 80,000 people in a stadium? You said it’s happened plenty.

Yea, I’m sure you see all kinds of people on your weekly hotshot from bunkie to houma.

That’s 80,000 people in Tokyo last year, stating after the rest of the competition is over and watching only him in that stadium. When has Justin Jefferson ever kept 80,000 people in a stadium by himself?

It’s totally shocking someone as “worldly” as you wouldn’t have any idea about this
quote:

Been outside the US many times bud.

The you’re one of the dumbest people in the world because there is a 0% chance that Justin Jefferson is “far more recognized around the world” than one of the biggest stars in a global sport.

You could’ve at least said Shaq or something.
quote:

Do you really think Mondo is the most recognized LSU athlete worldwide? Pole vaulting isn’t that popular dude. Maybe he’s a celebrity in Sweden but the vast majority of people who even follow sports have no idea who he is. Guys like Justin Jefferson are far more recognized worldwide. He’s the unquestioned best in the world at a niche Olympic sport. People care about him once every 4 years worldwide and pole vaulting is way down the list of Olympic sports the world follows or cares about

Spoken like someone that has never traveled out of the United States.
Since the original was inexplicably locked.

We can now add should have bumps for:

- Blowing an 18 point second half lead at home.
- Officially winning less than 1 out 4 conferences games in his tenure as a head coach at lsu.

That’s it. That’s the thread.
