I went to that Sofirn H35R this past hunting season, and absolutely love it. Bought several more to give as gifts. Takes the same charger as my phone, and since the battery is removable I can pull it out and use it in my thermal (or vice versa).

For the price, it can't be beat.

First, make sure you've degreased the bone. This is what causes the yellowing. Then use the 40% peroxide. After the peroxide, letting it dry in direct sunlight really lets it whiten well.
I lean the majority of the time, so I like the slanted front on my Cruzr mini Seeker
.308 - Nebraska buck (borrowed a gun so I didnt have to fly with one)

6.5 Grendel - 3 mississippi bucks
I use the MVP because of the multi-sized particles, and because it has sinking particles as well. My bass seem to stay up top and feed on the floaters, which I hope gives my coppernose plenty opportunity to feed on the sinking stuff too. That's my theory, anyway..
I recommended SWC because he just did the hydroturf in my bay boat a few months ago, so he could probably do your paint and decking in one go.
If you're set on paying someone to do it, try Shallow Water Customs
That's our camp way in the back (white trailer). That spot is a great spot, overlooking the pond, and within walking distance of the camp. The 3 of us that hunt this piece all have kids that are getting into hunting, so it was a no-brainer for us to break down and invest in an Antler Shed for them to be comfortable in. They absolutely are awesome.
Got a crew of us up here in the Darrington area, but a Saturday morning hunt has yet to be determined....

Our camp is several miles down a gravel highway. We had plans to go and bring the kids to try to kill something... but with the risk of roads getting icy, and being without power possibly in those temps, I don't think I'm making a trip this weekend.

I really like the sectional sliding windows in the new Antler Shed blind we got last year. Also the carpeted plank that you can move around in there makes for a great elbow rest/shelf. Another blind we built has shelves in one corner, which is handy.

Having a small porch/landing at the top of the ladder helps you get yourself established before getting in and out. I like having flat stair treads instead of a "ladder" to climb up.

All of the above makes for a better experience with bringing the kids..
I wanted one to use as a monocular, and a scope if I ever needed. Went with a Nocpix Slim H35. No complaints at all. It's also my first thermal, so can't compare it to much. But it's perfect for my application.

Eta: also about half your budget

Decent blood trail on a doe I shot with the Leverevolution last year, but nothing spectacular. Tore up her insides real good.

I've carried a Leatherman Skeletool for 10 years now. I don't think I could ever go back to just a pocketknife. It carries like one, though.

Dual track, multi section sliding windows (if that makes sense). Can open as little or as much as needed, and do so in different areas of the window.

How do the antler shed blinds hold up to bugs/wasps?

Wayyyy better than the sportsman condos
It seems they've all migrated to around us in SW Mississippi :banghead:
