No. Agriculture wasn't invented until after the Ice Age (around 10,000 BC). We know exactly where and when it developed - eastern Anatolia and the Levant.

Without agriculture you don't have time to do anything but hunt. Wild game and plants expire quickly, so you are always having to hunt for more. Every man must be a generalist (a hunter, gatherer, tool/weapon maker). No one was "specializing" in anything except the food economy. In their spare time we know some of them dabbled in clay/ceramics and also artwork (like on cave walls). But actual city building wasn't a thing.

To build civilization you need a constant and reliable food supply so you can grow the population. With hunting/gathering there aren't enough calories around to sustain large populations. The second reason is with agriculture your specialists don't have to waste time gathering food. They can turn their attention to building, masonry, stone cutting, engineering, etc.

With the advent of grain farming, now you have a food item that can be processed and stored in silos for a long time without going bad. That's a huge advantage, even though grains also had their downsides (it caused tooth decay and lacked protein which caused people to become smaller than their ancestors. If you look at skeletons before farming, they were taller, thicker boned, and almost all had perfect decay free teeth).

Yes, Tot is also back in or around Lee county. He went to some AU games last year.

Edit: maybe I am wrong. But I know he went to at least one game in Auburn last year.

They were regular infantry who volunteered for a three week Recondo school operated by the 5th Special Forces Group.

Recondo school wasn't required except for the NCO's. Enlisted men could just volunteer and go I believe. Actually some divisions (like 1st Cav) had their own internal LRRP training course. This is because there weren't enough slots in Recondo school to fill demand.

Some might ask why Army Rangers weren't used for this. After all, that's exactly what the Rangers are trained for in the first place. The answer is we deactivated all Ranger battalions after Korea and there were no Ranger units available for Vietnam. However, in 1969 the Army "redesignated" the LRRP units into "Rangers." So those guys basically became Rangers overnight. They were not given the Ranger "tab" but were given the 75th Ranger shoulder patch.
They are not a religion but a political body who's openly stated goal is to kill all Americans. They need to be rounded up and shipped out now.

And call no man your father on earth, for you have one Father, who is in heaven.”

Someone needs to inform the Catholics of this book called the Bible.
We shouldn't be funding any of these charities in the first place. WTF

A charity, by definition, is something people do voluntarily, not with tax dollars.
Why do we have Zimbabwe art in an American airport? We have zero connection to that country.

(Actually I know the answer. Wegle1999 is absolutely right).

Worse than that. They had duels with pistols.

Gus is back in town, guys. Fire up the bus

What you guys use for spreading? One of those push spreaders or hand held? I believe they have battery powered hand helds now that do it for you.

In 160 years, the Chimp descendants will start threads on their version of the OT with titles like "160 years ago today, the first shots were fired at Fort Uganda."
Tuck has been cucked and is paid off. I am not sure he really believes the stuff he says. But when they money is flowing, every man has a price.
Good. Maybe this will force Trump to pull out of NATO. And we need to pull out of the UN while we're at it.

I love how the media always says seal team 6, like the other teams are never Involved.

Team 6 is a special "tier 1" unit. It is the only tier 1 unit in the Navy. So, yes, they are different from Seal Team 1, 2, 3 (etc). Seal Team 6 only takes other SEALs in for training and a fairly high rate of them fail the training (or quit). Within the SEALs, Team 6 is called "Green Team." They are different from "regular" SEALs because they focus on hostage rescue, snatching high-value targets and other "special missions." The other SEAL teams are "standard" battlefield commandos.

The other tier 1 (ground unit) is the Army's Delta Force. The difference with Delta is they take people from all branches, but most of the candidates are other Spec Ops guys (Green Berets, Rangers, Force Recon Marines, etc.). Only about 10% pass Delta training in an average year.

The military calls these tier-1 units "special mission units."

Since it was Seal Team 6 and not Delta, we will get a movie. I'm here for it.

Can you imagine the number of people that would include?

About 12% of Louisiana's white population has at least 1% African ancestry. That number is similar for most of the former slave states.
He is absolutely right in everything he is saying. The 14th was written for freed slaves. It had absolutely nothing to do with Mexico or Chinese billionaires.
One of the best threads here in a while.
That's me. The very tail-end of Gen X. I used casette tapes in junior high, VHS until college. And began downloading music around that same time.

I even had a Commodore 64 as a kid and remember the BBS system. You would put your phone on the modem and connect (much like in the movie War Games).

So yeah, I seen it all. Commodore/BBS, casette/VHS, onto DVD and digital downloads, now onto streaming music/video services

That's a Panasonic 3DO. My best friend had one in the early/mid 90s
