I can’t believe I read all of that. Now, I hope we fake another field goal.

Game 1 was a great game to watch. It had two top pitchers going at it for a low scoring game. That was the best game out of the three.

Game 3 was one or two errors away from being a completely different game. OU having their top hitter back helped them out.

It was an enjoyable series to watch. Good luck going forward OU fans.

Congrats. Texas is a solid team and was just the better team this weekend. It was a fun series to watch. I enjoyed it.

Coaches tried to pull him out but he wasn’t having it. I haven’t seen a player refuse to leave the game with the coaches on the field yelling at him to get off. Not a good look.

Impressive run last year and this year!
Looking forward to the day when ESPN no longer exists.

ESPN has contacted the NFL league office to determine if this would violate its policy on gambling but did not immediately hear back.
I’ve heard of several Ole Miss fans buying Tulane season tickets just for the game. They said the price for Tulane season tickets wasn’t that much.

Thanks for all the work you put in this baseball season! I appreciated your posts all season. Thank you!

I know today is a tough day but Florida will be right back in it next year.

Thanks again for all that you contribute to this board!
After LSU series, Bama vs Wake is the series I’m most interested to watch. Bama hitters vs Wake’s pitching will be fun to watch.

Congrats Kentucky!

I’ve enjoyed watching our team play this year. I’m so glad to have another weekend.

Those coming to BR have a safe and fun time!
Good series win. The War Eagle should fly the start of every home series. That was pretty cool! It looked like a fun baseball environment all weekend.

Our BP needs to improve if we are going to make a run.

Good luck the rest of the season.
That LSU pic was taken on Halloween Day vs Ole Miss.

I enjoyed watching him pitch. He is a stud Friday night pitcher! Gators pitching looking good.
Ha! I was at that game and remember seeing that guy. It was Halloween weekend against Ole Miss probably 20 years ago. Fun weekend!
Juan’s and Slice are owned by the same people.

The Magazine location was Slice then Juan’s. They left the space due to the increase in rent.

The Slice on St Charles was not good.

There are 20+ new construction homes being built three blocks away. Long term the area will be much improved when people more people are living in the immediate area.

Slice leaving doesn’t bother me at all.

I think you might be adding an extra zero.

Taxes on $650,000 with homestead exemption is estimated to be $8,188.10 and without homestead exemption $9,146.15

I like Oliver Thomas. His crime was very minimal. He refused to cooperate and got the book thrown at him.

The next day after he refused to cooperate the quote on the front page of the TP was, "I'm not a rat", with his picture.

That mindset is one of the biggest problems we have had with the crime problem in NO. For this reason alone, he should not be considered. He set us way back by feeding that culture.
The last two occasions I saw people wearing masks, they were doing it out of precaution. They got Covid and quarantined for 5 days then had to wear a mask for 5 days.
Once the pits migrated to other malls in the late 80s, it hasn’t slowed down.
Central City has improved greatly over the past 5-10 years. 5-10 years ago you would've had 15+ murders so far this year. It use to be one of the most dangerous places in New Orleans. Out of the 57 murders this year only 2 have taken place in Central City.

There are plenty of renovations going on and new construction being built. The area improves every year. 5-10 years from now it will even be better.

I don't find it frustrating as I do amazing. I've lived in New Orleans my whole life (almost 5 decades) and never would've imagined Central City doing so well. It definitely has a ways to go but it is headed in the right direction.

This is not a factual statement at all.
