I tried the search and didn’t come up with much. I’m boiling 3 sacks this weekend. I’ve done one boil per year for a few years but never quite satisfied with the flavor. I reuse the same water in each subsequent sack and add a little more seasoning each time. Which seasonings do y’all use and how much each new batch?
Have a Recteq 700 and use it 3-4 times per week. Love it.
At Skip Bertman’s baseball camp when I was in 8th grade there was this drill where they would see how far you could hit it off of a tee. I hit it father than anyone in our age group that weekend.

Horse fly help!!

Posted by CMPunkBITW on 6/8/21 at 2:35 pm
Hey everyone didn’t know if this was the right board or not but the horse flies are out of control at our house. We have a pond in our backyard and with all the rain lately it’s been worse. Any tips on getting rid of them?? I can’t even grill outside without being attacked by a dozen of them. Thanks for any help!
I work in the OLOL ED and we were using them to test all of our swabs at the beginning of all this but we overwhelmed them with the volume of test so it was taking a week to get results. Eventually we were able to do our own in house testing with 1 hour turnarounds so we stopped using them. That was back in June I wanna day. Haven’t heard anything about them since.

re: Anyone had COVID?

I had it in March. Worst symptoms were fatigue and loss of taste for sure. Fatigue lasted a week. My sense of smell/taste didn’t return for almost two months though it sucked.
Very true. I work in the ED at the OLOL in Baton Rouge and noticed last week we were accepting transfers from Hospitals I had to google to see where they were. Now our hospital is full too and do not have beds for our own patients.

What more do people want? The guy was fired and arrested and will go to trial. If you want justice then the justice is in the process of taking place. Why doesn’t LeBron speak out for the black people Murdered by other black people. Why does he only speak up when it’s a white guy? It’s a problem not saying it isn’t and George Floyd didn’t deserve to die but all murder is a problem. Picking and choosing which ones to stand up against is splitting this country apart.

This!! I can tell you as an ER nurse in Baton Rouge the VAST majority of the gun shot victims We get are African Americans shot by other African Americans. In fact in 7 years I can count on one hand how many have been shot by cops and not other black men. But that doesn’t fit the narrative so it’s never discussed.
It’s the calm before the storm. Right now the majority of patients that usually come in for BS are staying away. We designated a whole portion of the ED for only respiratory complaints to isolate them. They are also renovating a unit on the floor to add negative pressure rooms for all the potential COVID pts.
They will all check into the ER for BS and take up beds for actual sick people.
I’m an ER nurse and unfortunately this is a huge problem. When a psych patient acts up and assaults one of us we are basically told there’s no point in pressing charges because “it won’t hold up in court” because they are psych. Another huge issue is police dumping off their psychs and drunks when they can’t handle them.
Bet you wouldn’t say that to the nurses while you were in the ER tough guy.
I can tell you as an ER nurse in Baton Rouge the news doesn’t report 80% of the GSW’s we get every week. You only hear about the ones that die and then only the ones that happen before 10pm. Luckily they mostly happen in the northern part of town.
I’ve actually been thinking of doing this too. Anyone hear anything about and good plastic surgeons that do this in the Baton Rouge area???

It's a free standing ED, meaning they won't take any ambulances. A gunshot wound or any really sick person would have to come through the door and then transported by ambulance to OLOL once stabilized.

This. I'm an ER RN at the Lake. This is all just to shut up the masses. Anything above urgent care level illnesses will be transfered to the Lake and no traumas will ever be brought there. It's all for show.
Harrison Ford. Two of the biggest franchises of all time and top 5 box office gross all time.

I didn't realize how big of an issue it was until I started working in the ER. It's a huge issue.
Just got out of there at 715. One officer will definitely pull through the other was rushed to surgery but was stable. The perp probably won't make it. Can't really give details due to not knowing who may see this on here.
Yes for sure. One of my top 10 series all time.
ER nurse here and too many to narrow down to one but today I had a schizo man throwing his own poop at us from his colostomy bag while laughing and cursing at us. Just another day.

He isn't hitting the ball with the sweet spot of the bat. Likely extending his hands to far out creating a "long" swing and hitting on the neck. Quick hands. Straight to the ball and not in a big arc. Your arms should never feel extended when swinging through the zone. That means you got fooled on a pitch. If the ball is outside, you just step to it and use the same swing. If you can't hit it, it's not a strike. I don't know how old he is, so not sure how detailed you want to get.

Some people don't like it, but I used to put the but of the bat on my belt buckle and put the barrel against a fence. In that small of a gap, I could take that bat and have a full power swing. You've just got to keep your hands inside. I'm sure there are YouTube videos.

This. Set a tee up next to a fence so that his swing is too long the top of the bat will hit it. That way he can tell if he is going short to the ball or not. Here's a video.[link=( )]LINK https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=P45DA5RzxuU[/link]
What SW2SCLA said. I'm an ER RN and it depends on the ER physician working at that time. The problem with PECs is they stay on your permanent record your whole adult life so some MDs are hesitant to give them out unless absolutely necessary. And I've seen others sling them out like stripper flyers on a Vegas strip.

I see them daily in the ER. Most have COPD and can barely breath without supplemental O2.

Friday Night Lights
Xmen the animated series
Sopranos
Game of Thrones
Full House
Yup. I think GOAT pilot episode and finale actually.
Let's just say as far as nursing goes, not many get past the interview process where I work. And the ones that do only a few last long. Most of them get into it for the paycheck and don't have the work ethic for it.
