Seems like Finney is getting glowing reviews from several sources now. Hope this continues because we need him.
Thanks, looking forward to it.

If you don't mind, can you tell us how the D-line rotations look, who is getting reps at edge behind the starters, and how does Havon Finney look?
It’s April. They’re tinkering.

We were already thin at CB

Everyone keeps saying this, and it may be true for boundary CB, but how much real depth at boundary do we actually need?

If we have four startable CBs on the outside, of course assuming no further injuries, that would be enough because there are a ton of nickel and hybrid DBs who will play slot and in 3 safety looks.

So DJ, PJ, Jackson and Finney (and if we sign this guy Hackett) would be a good situation. Most times only two of them will be on the field at one time.

Guess we’re going to see what Havon Finney has pretty soon

This is the guy I’m keeping an eye on. Super talented, but obviously young. Anyone think he can contribute right away?
Zero state income tax will do that. Not a friggin rodeo.

I was there last September. It’s bad man. Like bad bad. And we didn’t even steal Lane yet.

I really honestly think it’s time for you to just take a break. Go away for a little. We knew what we were getting with Lane, so if you’re gonna be an emotional little girl over every single thing he does and says, you may not make it.

Just take a break.
That’s my favorite SEC road-trip. Never had a problem with their fans. Generally good people and gorgeous campus.

Yeah, I’m absolutely positive this was your sentiment when he was bringing your historically loser program its best seasons ever.

This will help against the oafs on South Carolina
He’s the antithesis of F King. He was a holier-than-thou academic type who snubbed his nose at athletics and viewed it as an ancillary chore to deal with. Wade and the current group fully understand athletics is the doorstep to any large university and embrace it to make the entire system better.
Our coach out here taking pics in his socks like a boss

I never really used to watch these even in more of my diehard fan days in college and in my 20s, but I find myself having watched every single one of these so far. We really did get the pearfect coach finally.

Same

Nope, in fact I prefaced my sentence with “IMO the best case scenario is…”

Don’t be contrarian just to be contrarian.
It’s ok to acknowledge he is a very good player who was just now coming into his own, and it sucks to lose him, but we have enough depth and talent where it will not be a big detriment. Both statements are true.

IMO, the best case scenario is Lamar is dominant right off the bat and can set the edge with that big frame at SDE and Jordan Ross can remain a pass rush specialist and just tee off on quarterbacks.
