Go to an allergy doctor and get an allergy test done. Then get allergy shots for a couple years. They will concoct a shot for what you are allergic to. It’s inconvenient for a while but changed my life.

I can recommend an absolute dog allergist if interested.

We were in a somewhat similar situation to you but we decided to make the move to the suburbs before the kids came. Now we have 2 and we are so happy that we moved out here.

I agree with everyone that said go for the bigger house now. You are in an awesome financial position and need to reward yourself and family by getting out of that town home and into a house with a yard and some space to stretch out. I have a similar commute and it somewhat sucks but I try to get out of the city by 3 every day and it only take me about 35 min to get out to cypress.

I would recommend you look into Town Lake. We love living out in Cypress. We have been out here for almost 10 years now.

That’s fair. Yeah I know guys that have a good situation like you as well, some not as fortunate. I feel like if you aren’t trading off family stuff for OT, then it’s a win win for you for sure.

I am an engineer with 10 years experience and make about $75/hr. Yeah some of these guys make much more, but I work less than 40 hours a week and it if I don’t feel like driving to work, I work from home. I am home every night and weekend and never miss any of my kids stuff, even if it’s in the middle of a work day. I’ll take 50k less a year for that flexibility, yall can have the OT.
