re: ICE agent rammed by lunatic in MN suffered internal bleeding
Posted by Montezuma on 1/14/26 at 12:42 pm to lsupride87
You just showed him leaning forward , which makes his torso behind his shoulder. Hmmmm
ETA: There is a slowed down video that shows that he puts his hand holding the phone on the hood to lean forward for the first shot, and in my opinion DOES get hit in the torso as she turns away. So there IS a chance he has a bruise from being hit by the body of the vehicle in his torso. All other opinions on the matter aside, I was wrong and will be a man and say so. I believe he was struck by her vehicle, from what I see in the video floating around on social media.

I have seen no video showing him being struck in the torso by the body of the vehicle, and we all saw him walk/run away with no immediate physical notion of an injury. However, cannot dismiss he could have been clipped by the side mirror. One thing is for sure, government lies to cover its arse. Chalking this up to a lie.
re: 7th year senior is the dumbest part of all this

Seven is wild, but I have heard of a couple athletes that went to elite universities and ended up with an MBA in six.
Smoke em if you got em on that.

Hardaway over Drexler? You must have been born in the 90's.

Polo and khakis are casual wear for adults. Why knock those, especially in defense of jerseys and sweats?

Vintage Apparel uses cheaper materials for their clothes. Size up for the inevitable shrinking.
re: NIU to join the MWC

Their other sports were not lighting the world on fire, and they were very vocal about MACtion killing their attendance. But the MWC is a shell of itself and not sure if this really sets themselves up for any true benefit.
If Texas ends up being the SEC savior, the Texas trolling will be, and should be, glorious.

These refs in this Vandy/GT game have ruined this second half so far

Eh, it could be a brain fart. That happens. Try it it again later and see if it plays out the same.
re: Discussion on number of fans leaving college football annually
Posted by Montezuma on 12/13/24 at 2:45 pm to ibleedpurpleandgold.
People will complain, then tune right back in. Just like the NFL. We enjoy football, we will bitch and moan while we watch. And now there are more teams with a shot at the title, so more fans from different teams are gaining fans from the fairweather pools.
Now, i am losing interest because my school is trash, but that is a different story.

Ohioans voted for this soft, patheticness. Absolute snowflake legislation.
re: Heard on the radio: NIH pays for most medication R&D.

Ever since corporations lobbied to end government R&D and have private do it , it has been this way. The fact we fund a lot of it and We The People get boned since they keep the patent is just another example of using capitalism explicitly against us.
Us G5's don't understand the CFP brackets and byes. Lack of privilege leads to ignorance.

Ouch. Take an L at home to your rival and an invoice.

The fact Boise might get a bye is a joke.
When it was just assumed ACC, Big Ten, Big 12 and SEC would just autofill those slots, no one said a word. Watching the complaints now is quite enjoyable.
Hope an SEC has to go up to Boise to get beat by a G5 team in the cold.

How many miles uphill in snow did you walk to AND from school as a kid?
If you actually know the source, go drink it. If you have no clue about the risk of not knowing the source, and are doing it because social media says it's the new fad, also do it.
They were there before. Some should still be around. Ranchers already get paid for reporting their cattle loss by USDA, and can also get grants for securing cattle that are in known reintroduced areas. I always appreciated being in a forest with wolves. The ranchers financial cost for loss is less than a drop in the bucket for even the USDA's budget. The biggest complaints will from I see in the PNW, where older or lazier hunters are upset that it is harder to hunt because of the wolves pushing them into harder places to get to.

Then same for UGA. Nothing special about UGA's campus.

Congrats, Jake—you beat a 58 year old man who looked terrible. Who’s going to watch Jake Paul’s matches now? What a joke.

can’t believe I stayed up for this. I might’ve even paid for it if it weren’t on Netflix.
