So this is something that gets said a lot. It’s not true. Look up Jesse Griffiths. He owns one of the best restaurants in Texas and is super passionate about wild hogs. He recently came out with a wild hog cookbook and regularly hosts field to table classes at his restaurant. He eats big boars all the time. Like most things, it’s all in how the meat is handled from the time the animal is shot to the time it ends up on the table.

A little over an acre, trying to get it to a little over 2. Original people who we hired to build it messed it up pretty bad. Been stuck like that since 2016.

Liberty Precision machine anthem 38v2 or Mach 38. You won’t find anything better for the money. Riley makes probably the best welded hybrid tech silencers.

LPM is underrated. Riley makes the best welded hybrid designs you can get imo. Read some PewScience to make a selection.

LPM Mach series if it's on a hunting gun. Go with a Mach S or Mach K. I like short cans for hunting. If you want to really learn about silencers, go to pewscience and read up.

For hunting, you will want something shorter. CAT ODB, LPM Mach S or Anthem S, Otter Creek Hydrogen S, CGS Hyperion K. There are others. Go to PewScience and get familiar with his stuff. Sort by .308 and go to town. Jay is the only honest broker in silencer testing. Rule of thumb. A PewScience score of 35 at the ear is right about where I feel a silencer will shine and be “hearing safe” for me. Anything more is better.

I think they have done more to make hunting palatable to the general public than any other group. I think it’s because of how much they talk about conservation and public lands and then how much they talk about the field to table stuff. My parents dont care about hunting and don’t watch anything else hunting related, but they watch MeatEater.

Yeah, they are fun as hell though. Not in the same way a semi is. I have a Blaser w/ a 6.5 creed barrel and a 9.3x62 barrel. I find every excuse to shoot it. It is so damn fun.

Straight pull bolt gun in a .30-06, .35 whelen, or 9.3x62 shooting heavy for caliber bullets w/ a red dot. It's what the Europeans do. They are the driven hunt experts.

CAT is the new goodness. Anything they have that would fit your needs. Haven’t personally shot them but a few people I trust have and they are currently the top performers.

I lived in Natch for the past 2 years. Have tried about every place you can think of. Best places are Sweeties (get the ribs and bread pudding), Cane River Commissary, and Mayeuxs (red fish cocadrie is really good). There are some other decent places but those 3 are ones I could eat at frequently. Also, stop by Cane River Kitchenware and grab a brookie.

There have been ultra quick turnarounds since before Trump took office. Towards the last few months of Biden's term, there had been 1 week or less turnarounds. Nothing to do with Trump.
