To clarify these are dead hang with no kipping. Besides, who gives a shite how many pullups a wook(female marine) or some POG for that matter can do. They will never sniff the front lines let alone see combat.

It doesnt take a strong upper body to make sure the trigger pullers are getting paid, fed from behind the comfort of a desk . Most grunts I know can do at least 20 strict dead hangs if not many more. I stay around 25 but I weigh 210 so im okay with that.
Ive already bought a new chest rig (haley strategic), eotech, hsgi bleeder blowout and a few other nylon things.

I mainly just want to try a few things which I dont want to buy without feeling.
Im just finishing up my deployment so naturally im trying to blow money. Wheres the best gear stores. Im looking for a magpul STR, a Wilson combat upper for my cqb rifle, and random tactical gear.

So give me some names of some places in the NOLA BR laffy area that carry a good assortment of goodies for a guy who guns.
Brands I like (magpul, haley strategic, grey ghost gear, hsgi, etc)
I'm probably going with the urban operator. I love tactical tailor's gear.

Also, I don't think i can be an operator operating operationally without something with operator in the name.
Thanks for the advice.I looked at Kifaru the other day; they were a bit pricey, but they looked like quality packs.

No, I'm not a Merc just yet; im still pounding it for uncle Sam. I do plan on growing a nasty mustache down range though.
I already have an issued one, but we are required to get a "civilian" one for our next deployment.
I've been looking at the urban operator packs by tactical tailor and the rush 72 by 5.11.

Does anyone have any experience with these two or know of any other brands i should be looking at. I checked out a few condor packs as well, but i wasn't feeling them. It needs to be a 2-3 day pack with black as a color option.

Seriously? I'm a veteran. I can call it a tit-willow stick if I want to.

POG
Well thanks. I had an account for like a month with under 100 posts back before i enlisted, but i wouldn't consider myself an alter or anything.

I guess ill have to brush up on my editing skills and make up a sig.
I'm a longtime lurker and a frequent message board poster so its not too hard to find the help board. Yes i am a marine, why would i lie about that. I'm an 0311 stationed in camp Lejeune. Thanks for your help with the sig. Ill rock it for now.

Edit- or not.

Id like this picture with my username in it. You can also throw some motivational USMC or operator shite if need be. Thanks in advance.

Edit: for a sig image please
I dont remember mine, but i remember Northlafayettefan and Mr_clean pretty well
