re: Where were you 6 years ago tonight?
Posted by Capo on 1/13/26 at 1:32 pm to Jack Crevalle
I was hesitant to go to the game because I still had PTSD from the 2011 National championship game in the dome.
I watched with the people I watched every game that year with so as to not jinx them.

re: Could 2019 LSU beat Indiana?

AI Overview
The final score of the recent Big Ten Championship football game was Indiana 13, Ohio State 10, with the No. 2 ranked Hoosiers upsetting the No. 1 Buckeyes on December 6, 2025, in Indianapolis. Indiana secured their first Big Ten title since 1967, ending a 32-game losing streak to Ohio State, thanks to a strong defensive performance that held the Buckeyes scoreless in the second half and a crucial missed field goal by OSU late in the game.
Think LSU in 2019 would have not won this game? On what planet would we only score 10-13 points?

While we’re here though …
Sorry. Wrong board. Drinking some
BS Targeting call. Suspend 1st half of championship?

What’s the rule these days? Devin White type situation where he has to miss the first half?
More than once
re: How is this targeting

It was just a standard tackle and pulled his head away.
re: Miami has missed 3 INTs. 2 probable pick 6's

There was a major hold by the left tackle that I was sure was gonna get called as well and wasn’t.
The saying "in law contracts are written to be broken" isn't literally true; contracts are intended to be binding, but the legal system provides mechanisms for when they are broken (breached) or become impossible to fulfill, allowing parties to end agreements legally through remedies like damages or termination, rather than just abandoning them
The college game was always more appealing than the NFL because they weren’t openly paid and there were restrictions to movement.
It will definitely have an affect on a lot of fans. Hopefully they can get some rules going.

“Is guaranteed” then shouldn’t be worried about the loss.
What’s the story with the plastic bag?

Trump has the absolute right to deny federal funds to “sanctuary” states that ignore federal law.
Not unlike when the feds forced the State of Louisiana to lower the presumption of intoxication to .08 by refusing to send federal highway funds.

No, we need Frank. Dude is a legend in recruiting Louisiana and specifically New Orleans. Figure out a way to make it work. Would be a colossal mistake to not keep him
“Recruiting staff” is way less important these days when money now talks.
Players/family will now follow the money. All things equal, then relationships count. Otherwise, it’s the money.
Different ballgame folks.
Baker and Kiffin coaching together would be epic.
Baker is only going to get better.

Coach O to Tulane or with Kiffin to LSU?

Either could happen

Ignorant and trashy. Great combo
Democratic congressional candidate Aftyn Behn repeatedly declined to clarify her current position on defunding the police during a recent MS Now interview. Behn, a Tennessee state representative, was pressed by host Catherine Rampell regarding her deleted 2020 social media posts that expressed support for the movement.
Interview Details
The Exchange: The host cited several of Behn's past tweets, including one calling for the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department (MNPD) to be dissolved and another supporting a teachers' union that made "defund the police" a requirement for schools reopening.
Behn's Response: Behn did not directly address her current stance, stating she did not remember the specific tweets and that she was there to discuss "affordability," which she claimed was the primary concern for voters in her district.
Host Follow-up: When Rampell pressed her further to clarify her current position, Behn responded that she would not "engage in cable news talking points".

Democratic congressional hopeful Aftyn Behn did not hold back when describing how she really feels about Nashville — the city she’s now running to represent — in a 2020 podcast that’s resurfaced just days before the Dec. 2 special election.
“I hate the city, I hate the bachelorettes, I hate the pedal taverns, I hate country music, I hate all of the things that make Nashville apparently an ‘it’ city to the rest of the country. But I hate it,” she said in the podcast.

I was/am ticked about the Bama linebacker yelling and the defensive line shift which caused our offensive line to jump.
That was illegal for us multiple times even though I have never seen the defense called without jumping I to the neutral zone.
When the refs huddled, I was sure it was going to be a Bama defensive penalty. I was dumb
