So, your belief is that Iran would get a nuke, bypass every other western country, transport 6300 miles with said nuke through every other country between Iran and DC?

Really?

Your way of thinking is very pervasive and is going to get a lot of people killed. Iran is controlled by a group of fanatical Islamists whose goal is to destroy Western culture and establish an Islamic caliphate to rule the world. They don't hide this fact. They are unlike any other nuclear power on this planet. They have no tolerance for western culture. It is not ok for them to have a nuclear bomb. You might be willing to take your chances but you don't speak for me.

Bend over residential rate payers. Somehow this will make your rates go up.

I would suppose that Entergy will be selling the power to Meta at a profit. Entergy will use the proceeds from the sale of the electricity to pay off the bond debt and cost of producing the electricity. Can you explain how this will make rates go up? Unless they negotiated a bad deal and are charging less than the cost to produce it should not affect the residential rate at all.

My biggest issue with gas prices are the hypocrisy. The same people who were ripping Biden for high gas prices five years ago are now defending high gas prices. The people who were saying high gas prices were not a major issue when Biden was president are now all up in arms about gas prices under Trump.

Do you not understand the difference. The Biden administration drove up gas prices on purpose to force a transition away from fossil fuels to "ecologically friendly energy". Trump is ridding the world of an existential threat. If you can't understand that, I don't know what to tell you. But the reality is, no one complained when gas was over $4.00/gallon when Biden ran it up and we got nothing for it. If $1.00/gallon is the price of freedom and security I will gladly pay it. Wake up, gas is still cheaper than what we paid for 4 years and the media all of a sudden are screaming about it. The truth is, they support the mullahs and there demonic quest to destroy America. I'll leave it here and pray that America wakes up.
Want to know whar sucks more, a nuke being detonated in your neighborhood.
Another bridge over a large strip of water to the west.
I had replied a few threads up that I ended up going to Rocco's. It was close and served its purpose. I will keep a list of all the recs and try to hit them on future trips. Mabel's sounds like a place I will definitely have to get to. Thanks to everyone for the suggestions.
Thanks for the suggestions. A friend recommended Rocco's. I'm there now. Hope it works out. Will try your recommendations in the future.
South of LSU but I will go anywhere.

Can someone recommend a pace to get a great shrimp po-boy. Big,crispy shrimp and good bread. Very much appreciated.

You give the Trump rally goobs guns this will happen

They need to go back to checking receipts at the local Walmart exits

Seriously?

Thanks BK. What a culture he left. Way worse than the "38 players" nonsense yall threw on O.

It literally isn’t worse.

I don't understand why you think it was worse after O left. Brian Kelly came in and won the SEC west with the leftover talent and portal additions. I don't recall any spectacular portal additions that would explain this. And looking back, it certainly can't attribute it to an accomplished coaching staff. It would be reasonable to give credit to the group of players that returned from the O led team. After four years of Kelly, I don't know what to expect from the returning players.

I think Brian Kelly is the only one that was lousy when he came and lousy when he left.

Orgeron.

I don't understand the hate for O. He put together a very solid staff, excellent talent and fielded the greatest tfootball eam in NCAA history. I would trade the way his career at LSU ended any day over Brian Kelly.

Eli played at Ole Miss

I think it would be more accurate to say Eli played for David Cutcliff.

He caught lightning in a bottle is what he did. He also recruited and coached the two years after the championship. Look how well he did with that. You can argue all you want. I’m only stating a fact.

But you're not stating all the facts. Covid happened also. So the year after our championship run we couldn't even recruit in person and capitalize on the success of that season. Who knows what would have happened otherwise.

"If this really took place in the governor's mansion, and if the governor and other non-football people make a decision, as a coach, that's an alarm," Meyer said.

Who does he think made the decision to fire Franklin. Reports I saw said it was the big money donors. Does Meyer consider these "football people"?

It's no excuse for Kelly mailing it in, but Woody blocking him from firing Davis is chickenshit if true

From what I understand, Kelly's problems went far beyond Davis. He was an awful fit and truly an unlikable person.

Kelly apparently built a roster full of attention needing puppies instead of junkyard dogs.

Seriously, that's your take on Turner's statement?

100% yes. Never let a recruit hold you hostage.

the 70s. The 1979 USC game finally placed it in the minds of the national sportswriters as a very special place.

I would have posted this if not already posted. I don't think anyone sat down the entire game and there was a constant roar. At least, that's the way I remember it. Much more corporate now.
