2019 four-star wide receiver Kenyon Jackson from Loganville, GA announced Wednesday that he has de-committed from LSU and has reopened his recruitment.

Jackson, a 6-5, 200-pound receiver from Grayson High School, gave his verbal pledge to the LSU coaching staff back in June.

He holds offers from schools like Oregon, Florida State, Florida, Georgia, and others. LSU now has six verbal commitments for the class of 2019 with the departure of Jackson.

I think I am going to put "(no interviews)" at the bottom of all my e-mails and tweets now. (no interviews)

Please respect that I want to have a press conference in 5 months with three hats on a table to trick everyone and feel important

After much consideration I feel like I don't get enough attention now that I've committed somewhere. I will open up my recruitment so my ego can get a much-needed boost

Not a bad decision. Take the year to enjoy the recruiting process and then come back to LSU at the end...if a scholarship happens to still be available.

Don't worry Kenyon. ESPN isn't going to come knocking on your door for an interview. Amazing, kids these days.

You're right. When I was 17 years old if I had the opportunity to be interviewed i would have been running to do it

Who cares? After we kick everybody's arse this year, they'll all want in. Maybe there's a scholarship? Maybe there's not! And if we really want a hard to get prospect, we'll just send Coach Wade after him! He da man!!!

He's 15-16 yrs old! Give him a break and step back from the edge! He's still got two(2) seasons of high school ball to play. It doesn't mean he's not coming. LSU may not want him in 2 yrs. He probably does miss the attention a big time stud gets. Relax and enjoy the season. Down vote away!!! I know, too rational.

No "we" don't. If he doesn't attend LSU I really don't care.

Taking a commitment from a kid in his Sophomore year in high school is a waste of time for everyone.

Why don't they just stop all the nonsense "I'm committed to" from kids from 8th grade to say 11th grade ... only get commits from Seniors in high school... not saying they will stick to their commitment but at least you don't have to listen to all the bullshite for 4 to 5 yrs.... "I've committed, I've decommitted".... etc.....

This is ridiculous. The fact that he was considered a "Commit" at this point is absurd...even if swearing on mamma nem.
