LSU head coach Ed Orgeron provided updates on defensive end Frank Herron, wide receiver Dee Anderson and linebacker Sci Martin.

All three players have been limited or absent during fall practice. Here's what Orgeron had to say about them. Per LSUSports.net:
quote:

On Frank Heron:
Frank Herron, obviously Frank Herron did not play last week. Frank Herron is going to be on a week-to-week basis. He's not ready to play right now and he's not cleared to play and I don't know when he's going to play.

On Dee Anderson:
He's been out with an injury all camp. He has not practiced yet. He has not practiced one time in camp. He has been out with an injury all camp, and I don't know if he's going to be back this week.

On Sci Martin:
Sci Martin will be practicing today. I do believe he's practicing today. He should be practicing today.

Those are some incredibly redundant statements as written

What does that even mean for Herron? Never heard of him being injured.

you never heard? how could that be? you mean you are not being briefed on the team? You are not on the staff?

Geez CelticDog, calm down! He simply stated he had not heard of Herron being injured.

Medical redshirt for Dee, or is this injury business a cover for something else?

Are we sure Herron's out for injury injury or academic reasons? He just said he wasn't "cleared." Is that by the school of athletic trainers?

If it was academic reasons, how could it be "on a week to week basis", for student who has already graduated?

Sounds more like a Les Miles comment.

Yea, I know, even though read it to myself in a coach O voice, it still came out sounding a lot like Les.

sounds like a coach comment. They either say vague stuff or they just pull a belichick and repeat a lame answer over and over. Name a coach who is completely forthright in why players are missing/suspended or what their specific injuries are.
