Just one week after retiring from the NFL, former LSU offensive lineman Will Clapp is still sticking around the league and his old team.
On Tuesday, the New Orleans Saints announced that Clapp has been hired as an offensive assistant.
Clapp, a native of New Orleans, La. (Brother Martin), was a three-year starter at LSU from 2015-2017 after redshirting his freshman season in 2014. His father, Tommy, lettered on the defensive line at LSU back in the 80's.
Clapp was a 7th-round pick by the New Orleans Saints in 2018 and spent time with the Saints, the Los Angeles Chargers, and the Buffalo Bills.
He returned to the Saints in 2025 but suffered a Lisfranc injury in the team's first preseason game and was placed on season-ending injured reserve.
