LSU junior linebacker Josh White announced on social media Monday afternoon that he is entering his name into the transfer portal.

The former four-star prospect from Houston, Texas (Cy Creek HS) appeared in every game during his freshman season in 2020, recording six tackles. He missed all of the 2021 season due to injuries.

LSU returns Micah Baskerville, Mike Jones Jr., Greg Penn III, and Jared Small from last year's squad. The Tigers also signed five-star linebacker Harold Perkins and transfers
West Weeks and Kolbe Fields.
