For years it's been known that LeBron James wants to play on the same team as his oldest son, Bronny James. Well, the moment is here and while speaking to ESPN on Wednesday, LeBron's agent and friend Rich Paul asserted that LeBron is "off" the idea...
quote:

“LeBron is off this idea of having to play with Bronny,” Paul told the outlet. “If he does, he does. But if he doesn’t, he doesn’t. There’s no deal made that it’s guaranteed that if the Lakers draft Bronny at 55, he (LeBron) will re-sign. If that was the case, I would force them to take him at 17. We don’t need leverage. The Lakers can draft Bronny, and LeBron doesn’t (re-sign). LeBron is also not going to Phoenix for a minimum deal. We can squash that now.”

Lebron is so oppressed. How can one not feel for this man?

Suddenly Bronny is not a “potential first overall pick”.

Maybe he’s realizing that he basically reduced his son to a MacGuffin in his own career story, and he’s not a complete douche so he’s trying to undo that?
