Pelini is not going anywhere... he loves NEB and is headed back to the BIG 10 where he can own...
Harbaugh would be unreal here... but he prob only leaves for the NFL or Michigan...

its nice to have a big time recruiter like miles, but its not worth it if we arent maximizing the studs we get.
Just need 2 more coaching changes and LSU will be back where fans want them to be...IMO

I'd say your friend must be a very powerful person. Like an associate of both AD's...or maybe a common prostitute for both the school's presidents
No kidding.
We've been just waiting for someone with inside information to come forward...and by luck, we've found someone who is an insider at both LSU and Michigan.

Their first choice is Harbaugh and second is Miles.
Who is their third choice, because they aren't getting either of those guys.

Looks like we no longer need Belowpar.

Coincidentally, the OP is somewhat contradicting what belowpar said (Miles was looking around). So someone is obviously wrong or is lying.

to complete awful from start to finish of that season. i would love to know his reason for the complete collapse of the D that year.
LMAO. we were ranked #3 in the nation in yards allowed defensivley dude. AND, pellini's D was #3 for 3 straight years. 05,06 and 07.. good grief. yes we gave up some points in some games. however, our D was beat up for half the year. Did you watch any games. Do you keep track of who was hurt? clearly not.

If I had to guess? Cooper, Haley, Chavis, Wilson and Gonzales is what he means. But that's just me.

only Crowton and Stud need to be replaced. if you remotely follow LSU you know this.

Currently as it stands at LSU Les isn't letting anyone go, including Crowton. Unless Crowton gets hired away he'll be back next year
Thats what I thought all along. Les is like a bunch of posters here, satisfied at 10 wins with no regard as to how the team actually played.

For those sating that Miles' no comment or "not wanting to discuss this at this time" is meant to say he's necessarily mulling it over, shouldn't get too excited.
Reality is that if Les comes out and publicly states that he's making changes or deliberating about it, then he's going to screw up recruiting. Going the other way and claiming he's staying could start up a major shite storm with both recruits and fans. By saying he's not going to discuss it, he can tell recruits whatever he needs to and they won't have to deal with his public comments being twisted.
Les may be stubborn, but he's not an idiot. He's quite an intelligent guy. He's playing this to try and keep it quiet and I think he's honestly been informed that UM may be interested if Rich Rod ends up gone by some influential people at UM.
That is why he's being quite mum and defensive/short with questions about it. He doesn't want to start a shite storm, and understandably so.

i'd just like to say that i am only providing the information that my friend has given me. i tend to side with belowpar in the respect that things are fluid and can change tomorrow and his 'source' may be a bit different from mine. if anyone is wrong in this instance, it's probably on my end. nevertheless, i will provide any info that comes my way....

Let's blow this shite out of the water ONCE AND FOR ALL.
LSU's offense has been HORRIBLE.
So, Miles saying that he's going to "make changes" is not going to screw up recruiting.
In, fact -- it's just the opposite. Last year, when the offense continued to suck and Miles didn't do anything about it we lost two top WR commits (who obviously know football).
Mett's commit makes me think that Miles is seriously looking because there's no way that any QB could want to come to LSU after seeing Crowton's clusterf---

I'm not saying you are wrong. Furthermore, this board is built upon rumors, speculation, and insiders, so I'm sure everyone as a whole likes to hear stuff like this.
