What about a Co-OC situation?

What does your gut tell you?

2014: 2
2013: 6

don't know how many times we have to see the same thing before people believe it. What's going on now is the same thing that went on with O at OM. People are making an effort to ignore it though.

One guy in a staff of 10 left and we won 9 games. Tell me how that's the same thing as happened at Ole Miss. I'll hang up and listen.

Our fans are such drama queens about EVERYTHING

Sweet. Those players were mostly gone when Les Miles was fired, proving my point that we shouldn’t have been looking for better recruiting but better coaching

Which is why I don’t give a shite if we could “find a coach who recruits as good as Orgeron”

Eta: and we were 8 in 2011. You are losing this argument and trying to nit pick

No, you said he always finished top ten, I just pointed out your error

Haha ok bud

You got me. Point still remains, asking “yea but could you find someone who could recruit like Orgeron” is an asinine statement

And currently we sit at #12 in recruiting, so the argument is even more absurd

O fired his OC after his first year at OM too. He's following the same pattern. Offense doesn't get off to an amazing start, he panics, meddles, then fires the guy. Only difference is we're more talented than OM was back them.

Is being better than OM was back then good enough for you? If it is then ok, that's your standard.

Funny how we are interviewing a REAL OC candidate and there is no melting. Nothing but positive topics fill the entire board.

Funny how that works

Catastrophe syndrome? Or justified outrage?

What argument?

If the tigers get the ones they should, it will be a top ten class.

Try to follow along.

The guy said in defense of Orgeron... “yea but can you find someone who can recruit like Orgeron”

The answer is YES, we just fired him for sucking at coaching

And we don’t have a top 10 class yet so you are speculating, isn’t that what you are getting on everyone here for?

Damn you aren’t too bright

And Orgeron wore polos on the sideline at Ole Miss too. Firing one coach and equating that to being the same as Ole Miss is an intentional over-exaggeration

You have no idea of the dynamics and back story of what happened between he and Canada, none

yes that's the only difference

Doubtful.
Recruiting is 90% of the game. The average class rankings show as much.

Hard to argue with that. No hard feelings. We just have two different thoughts on how to be a fan but we want the same outcome

We did that for a long time with Miles and you saw the results. I would rather take a slight hit in recruiting and have better coaching than sacrifice coaching for recruiting. And by the way there are plenty of candidates that can recruit and coach. But to each his own I guess

What am I whining about? You came into this thread

I just said the people who were melting over Ensminger have a good reason to, and apparently it does make a difference if fans are pissed off
