I just said the people who were melting over Ensminger have a good reason to,

Unless he's hired no they don't

I’m just repeating what they said. They specifically said FAN backlash. This site is the largest collection of thoughts from LSU fans in history. But go ask them for yourself, I already did

you asked all the fans?

That aside, query me this: What were the fans' opinions about hiring Orgeron as head coach? Didn't seem to have much influence, did it?

10 years later we're hiring SE who has been fired 2 times as OC and once as TE coach.

Can you provide the link where we hired Ensminger? TIA

The fact remains they did make a difference. It’s what this entire thread is about. You disagree with that tactic but it doesn’t make it untrue.

if you think the fans on TD are having an impact on the hire

That’s not the point.

It is the point. Their fans acted like complete imbeciles. No one worth a damn would have touched that job after all that. Do you really want to cite their behavior as an example to follow?

Would it really surprise you with JA and EO, though?

Yep. It was a disaster.

Smart people realize fans on social media may be the loudest, but the most vocal are usually the least informed and most emotional. Good policy isn't decided by buffoons on a message board

No the point is that fans can have an influence. I didn’t say how and in what way

The “insiders” here said it happened. I am just agreeing with them

You and RogerTheButtplugger just can’t accept that, and that’s fine just move along

ok

I have no idea why our fans listen to "insiders" on here because they haven't been right about anything in years. Word to the wise, actual insiders don't post on message boards. If they did, they would no longer remain insiders

And you can accept that your temper tantrums about things that haven't even happened yet are ridiculous

Hahah nope. Your mind was made up when you opened this thread, you haven’t brought a single thought that is convincing to the conversation

I’ll ask again, what’s the point of getting upset about something AFTER it has happened? Now that would be really asinine

Might as well make your opinion known before wether it matters or not

Nice comeback. Maybe you could find an original thought instead of something Nick Saban came up with 15 years ago

I’m actually doing great. Very optimistic. A lot of good names being thrown around. I think with Aranda, and a young spread offensive mind the future is bright.

You got me all wrong fella

Yes, and many of them are students, children or immature adults who collectively don't warrant much consideration by the powers that be. Contrary to your apparent beliefs no LSU decision makers consult the Rant on matters of importance.
There are no influential folks or power brokers and few (if any) real insiders on this forum.
