@ the thought of an LSU loss..this will almost certainly put LSU in the Capital One vs Michigan..i don't think Less will coach the bowl game

I agree. Someone posted this possibility a few weeks ago, and at the time it seemed far fetched. However, this seems like a real possibility now. Considering the distractions this week and the fact that we have an inexperienced quarterback starting today, we will probably lose this game. In that event, I think LSU/Michigan is a done deal. Easily the most marketable game of the bowl season.

Isn't going to happen...Carr said when he announced his retirement that he was going to coach through the bowl game.

LSU Coach Saban vs. Michigan coach Miles at the Cap One Bowl. First time in HISTORY that an entire fan base does a complete 180 with their hatred of a coach in the same season.

I don't think so. That's very different. In the case of LSU/Michigan, you would have a coach coaching against his former team during the same season in which he left.
Now I don't think it would be handled that way. Either Carr or someone else would coach Michigan in the event of that matchup.

Carr is coaching UM in the bowl.
If we play UM, Miles will definately not coach us.

There is no way that he would do that. He cares about this team, and for him to then coach against us this season would be unfair and a slap in the face. I think Miles is a better person then that.

That's been in the works since Carr retired. We just obliged by first losing to Arkansas. We can now finish the job by losing today. It should be an intriguing matchup.

Screw the friggin' CAP ONE bowl -- let's hope for the BCS Miracle so we can let the new coach come in for the BCS Championship and so the "now former" coaches don't get a ring, their picture taken or anything.
