True, We loved Bobby because he showed us that Arkansas has the potential in getting us back into the top 10, and to our 1st BCS bowl.
But it also showed us that you can't forget about defense and that we have to be respectable in that aspect.

Also Petersen really fit what our AD was looking for in a head coach.
High Integrity, high morals, family man, and less confrontational than BP.

Of course you would. Why else would an LSU Fan want Arkansas to hire a "legit" coach? No doubt you have Arkansas' best interest at heart especially since the Hogs almost beat the Tigers with John L. Smith. Let that soak in for a minute. Arkansas gave the vaunted Tigers and Miles all they could handle with a lame-duck coach like John L. Smith and a lame-duck coaching staff.

I mean ok if that's your priority then Petersen is your guy.
In terms of the best fit for that job and the most likely to win the most games, Briles is the easy choice.

Petersons perfect for Arky...he has a lot of practice only having to,get his team up,for one game a year. As long as Arky is competitive with LSU , the fan base will be happy.

Don’t flatter yourself. Bama is our benchmark, not LSU. Arkansas has fared well against LSU lately but not so with Bama. Beating the Tigers again means nothing without taking the Tide down as well.
