So, what do you want TD to do for you at the next LSU home game?

Goodnight TD! More news as I get it. FYI I would love rich rod but I dont think he would do it but that's a pure guess.

Crazy. I've never heard of an inside WR coach. And I'm pretty damn shocked and embarrassed by it.

It's relatively new and I've only seen it with the Leach/Briles/Sumlin/Dodge types.

+1
I don't understand why more people do not share this sentiment. The guy has proven he knows how to score points, even if it is with the read option. Honestly, we have the horses to run any scheme we wish. Just need someone to properly coach it.

And the timing could not be better.

I think Steve Logan would be a pretty good fit as well. He's a RB coach at the moment. Read that he can help develope young QBs. He worked with Miles in the mid 80's at Colorado. ECU's all time winningest coach.(69-58)

Rich Rod is great with the spread but our qbs will soon be mett and rivers (pro style). I'd think that he wouldn't fit our personnel.

I base this on nothing other than my own intuition.
I totally agree. There was lots of talk last year that supports this, plus some have said Miles received more decision making power in the program with his new contract.

I just wonder if he is doing this to appease the fan base

I doubt it... he didn't bench JJ to appease the fans... looks like the right move now, but I didn't think so before.

ETA: It's good thing I'm not the HC!

Something tells me Crowton can coach and play call if he has the right QB and personnel

Although I was quite vocal about GC needing to go, I have really started more and more to think this is closer to being the cause. Maybe he is a good OC, just can't develop QB's. However, he was dealing with a shell-shocked QB with talent, and another that lacks the skills to be the type QB we need to take us to the top. Go ahead and cite the TAMU game, and I'll point out that their insistence on playing us straight up let him get away with staring down his primary receiver, not to mention all the airmails he delivered when we had wide open receivers.

I do not think Krag would be an upgrade-we would almost be better off letting Ensminger work with the QB's and BG call the plays than bringing him in here.
