I would be very happy with that!!! The sooner it gets done, the sooner we can feel good about finishing strong with our defensive recruiting class

That's the thing...he's not usually this way.

I was just curious as to why.

I don't know where it came from but I can tell you it is RIGHT ON THE MONEY!! This was supposed to have been hush hush but since ESPN radio reported it I guess it leaked out. I can confirm Walker DC: Orgeron DL and recruiting coordinator: Willis LB's. Orgeron wanted to be DC but Miles wanted Walker so he talked Orgeron into being DL coach and gave him the title of recruiting coordinator. I don't claim to be below par but I am neighbors with an LSU coach.

If all that's true, then I'm a happy camper. Can't really imagine a better scenario. I feel kinda bad for Josh Henson though...he's done a hell of a job. Oh well, I've gotten the shaft at work before too.

If he stays, as just TE coach, he will almost surely learn Special Teams, and work up to that in a year or so. They might make the Recruiting Coordinator a CO-tag (and have one offense and one defense) - if it was me, as long as the money is the same, call me a Tuna Sandwich.

Henson does a great job, but I don't think one could argue with Ed getting that job

Vegas4tiger is trying to be just a little bit coy.

I am not calling him out, fact-wise, because he was absolutely right that Hatch would start at QB at the beginning of the season, and he was wrong a month ago on Miles keeping the Co-DCs in place. (But before that, he said we would have new DCs for 2009). However, and again, I don't think he's trying to mislead anybody - he has had good information, particularly about QBs. However, he is a very infrequent poster, is from a non-traditional LSU area (Las Vegas), and joined the forum in Spring of 2007.

Stiuplating that I am not a rocket scientist, but Vegas4tiger has less than 100 posts. He is implying (and I am inferring) that he is Gary Crowton's older brother. I cannot verify that Crowton has an older brother. If he turns out to be right on this coaching info, he could rival belowpar in accuracy and popularity. This is an internet message board and any of us could just be some schmos off the street. I could be in Camden, NJ and say I was in Iraq and none of you would know the difference.

(Vegas4tiger - I am not calling you out. I am just sharing what I gleaned from your posts. I am not adding or taking away. G-d bless you for the information.)

Not to be off-topic, but didn't some dude get screwed in almost this very example on the Lounge? Said he was in Iraq, and from his IP address the admins could tell he wasn't and outed him...?

Yeah, happened a while back. From what I remember he claimed to be in armed services and wasn't.
