Go where you have to compete with Miami/FSU for recruits or where you can rule the state? He knows if he locks down the state of Louisiana, he can win alot of games. Go where there were 2 recent Heisman winners.
50/50 crime riddled br or fun sunshine florida..hmmmm

65% chance he's NOT coming to LSU.

100% convinced Kiffin will coach LSU

I don’t think it happens.

Finebaum said he thinks Kiffin ends up at Florida this morning
If OM was his choice, why hasn't he signed his extension? He has had it on his desk for over a month. Why would he put the fans, school officials, and donors through what he is putting them though if he was going to go back to OM? He will have burned alot of bridges to go back. You can see in that press conference yesterday that he is gone.

LSU will offer him the highest contract and highest NIL budget. LSU is giving him everything he asks for. If he decides to go elsewhere, it is his personal decision. Not something LSU refused to do.

I don't. Seems like these thing rarely play out.

I am convinced that he is leaving. I will be surprised if it’s not LSU since we have the most to offer. But, stranger things have happened. I think Saban has steered him towards LSU.
Just don’t be surprised if he leaves LSU for Alabama or the NFL

Joel Klatt late last week
Sports Illustrated - Nov 20
“Now, I don’t know if he can come back to Ole Miss. You can’t lead them on for this long. Now, there’s going to start to be animus. Like, ‘Why aren’t you signing an extension? What’s the problem?’ I think he’s going to Florida – I really do.
"I think he’s going to Florida and I think he’s going to be the next coach of the Gators, and I think that we’re going to have one of the biggest messes in college football history go down before the Playoff when Lane Kiffin steps away from a College Football Playoff team and goes to coach another team.”
Paul Finebaum late last week (ETA: didn't come out and say it, but suggested it and said Florida's a better fit for Kiffin)
On3 article - Nov 23
“I think Florida right now is riper. The fact that Florida looked so bad last night makes that job a little bit easier than LSU. Kelly was good, maybe not great, but LSU had everything on its shelf this year to win a title. They just couldn’t get it done. So, I would gravitate toward Florida a little bit.”
"Finebaum also said this decision may depend more on Kiffin’s family than Kiffin himself. He pointed to Layla Kiffin’s recent visit to Gainesville and her family’s history at Florida, saying that her opinion could be the biggest factor.
“This is a family decision; it isn’t a Lane Kiffin decision,” Finebaum said. “That’s why it was important for Layla Kiffin to go to Florida, where her father played, and where there are some roots.”"
Unless they've all changed their tunes this week. I didn't watch any of them yesterday

I don’t think he’s coming. It seems like it’s never who we want or who we think it will be.
And I also think he ends up at Florida for the same reasons.
I think most people on this board know deep down he won’t be coaching LSU.

Here is Lane at the podium explaining why he prefers to leave for LSU over staying at Ole Miss.
