Something spooked Woodward about Mel tucker. Not sure what it was but they backed off of him rather abruptly.

Tucker def was considered. His no nonsense approach is what is needed after all the rape allegations. All the talk about recruiting issues taking money from children’s hospital. But I for one don’t like that choice. If it comes down to Tucker or Stoops give me Tucker all day. Haven’t heard anything different about ball being in Riley’s court.

Makes more sense that if anything, they were given real scoop and then encouraged to leak Tucker as smoke. Gives them the fun of leaking info all in the name of helping LSU land their whale or whoever they are actually after.
