“If Lane Kiffin is still at Ole Miss on Monday, that means he’s already agreed to (or signed) a new contract. They’re just keeping it quiet so they don’t mess up the coaching searches at other schools.”
Further elaborating -
If Lane Kiffin is still the coach at Ole Miss on Monday, it means:
1. He has already agreed to a new contract with Ole Miss, and
2. They aren’t announcing it yet, because
3. They don’t want to disrupt other schools’ coaching searches (since announcing Kiffin is off the market could cause ripple effects).
