Fuente's buyout is 10 mil, but with Miles potentially getting another job, our obligations to him decrease dramatically. Fuente is another young guy with immense potential. He isn't as big-game proven as Herman, but he did a amazing job at Memphis. I don't think people who aren't from around this area appreciate just how much damage Larry Porter did to Memphis. They were a legit bottom 5 FBS team his last year.
He is worth a long look. He has future star potential, as well. He bent Freeze over in Memphis' win over Ole Miss, and he can sure as hell develop a QB. Lynch was a scrawny nobody when he showed up at Memphis and the fans called for him to be benched for his whole first season. Worked out pretty well.
