Yeah...Bear Bryant was pretty impressive in "his day" also....
Maybe we should dig him up and stick him on the sideline.
That would probably get you as impressive of results as Lou could get today.

For starters...
That's NINE....
You said, "at least" 10...
Which would be, 10 or more, but not less than 10, which 9 is....!
Anyway, care to offer some logic or reason as to why "these coaches" are better than miles....or should everyone just take your word on it!
Who on your list has a better record than 10-2 this year without a loss in regulation...
Who on your list is better than 32-6 their last 38 games?

I believe that Michigan will hire Kelly from Cincinnati.
Seriously doubt Michigan will hire a coach turned down by Michigan State.

I just don't see them not offering him.

Yes, Kelly isn't even on their radar screen.

I was talking about Les.

Given the talent that we have any of those coaches would have an equal or better record than Les
Still, records means nothing
Championships is all what matters

"We" who...your profile says your a "Michigan Man".
If you're talking about LSU talent, maybe "your selections" for great coaches should have done a little better job recruiting....You know, that is a key part of a College HC's job!
And now...."Record doesn't matter, only Championships"....you crack me up!
You do realize that LSU (under Miles) will be playing for the SEC CHAMPIONSHIP next weekend!
OR, are you going to tell me only NC's matter...IF so...How many on your list have one of those on their resume?

Name calling....How mature...I bet your mother is proud!
To your question...YES, I really want to keep Miles.
We're finishing our 3rd consecutive 10+ win season (first time ever in LSU History)
His recruiting classes are consistently top five if not top three in the nation.
Michigan, arguably one of the top programs in the country most likely has him as #1 on their wish list.
And I want to keep him? Yeah, I must be the stupid one here!

I hope MI passes on Les. He's a good recruiter and that talent is more than making up for some on field misgivings he may have. Plus he's a class act off the field. It's tough in the SEC.

Mcfadden would've rushed for 350+ if you were running the defense.

He may spit and slur most words but Holtz was a pretty good coach...without a doubt better than Miles.

Oh snap, this thread pretty much calls out the bandwagoners. Somebody should lock this up so nobody can go back and edit.
