I agree. Pelini won't be able to keep this class together alone. He will need alot of help, and he'll need to retain certain coaches.

agreed. State is on the rise and whether people realize it or not they will be a hell of an opponent long as Mullen is there. He'd be great with the resources at LSU and State goes back to the shitter. two birds, one stone.

Didn't Mullen just sign an extension?

As long as he pulls the trigger on a new OC.

If mullen turned down UF(may or may not be true)do you really think he'd come here?I do think that things have changed with Mullen though considering he just lost a rising star in Diaz and is being arse raped by Ole Miss all of a sudden in recruiting.Could be interesting.Whatever happens if Miles leaves(let's hope he doesn't)we need to hire someone quickly.Within 7 days.Just can't take the 1st guy available.

I would rather take a strong offensive minded coach like mullen. That way, the defense stays intact with cooper, haley, chavis and we have a mastermind to run the offense.

Keep wilson and hire a OC that is a GREAT recruiter because mullen will basically run the offense anyway.

mullen would be a slam dunk imo.

i don't know the details of his contract but most coaches can jump ship without much of a buyout. however if he's worth it... you pay the buyout.

Why wouldn't you just get Sumlin if you want an offensive mind that can be a good recruiter?

He'll come a lot cheaper too seeing as he only makes $1M/year

Bo Pelini and his family are northerners. Believe me when I tell you, he is not interested in coming back down south. However, he is really unhappy with TO.

But from what I know, Miles will not be going anywhere. Smacker is going to be a senior in HS and the rest of the Miles family is extremely happy here. Family is the most important thing to Miles. Baton Rouge is the Miles family Home and wish not to live anywhere else.

Really ? I did not know that.

Sources, From what I know a certain coach on the staff is extremely nervous about Miles to Michigan. While another coach is extremely confident he's not going anywhere.
But the Pelini and Miles family info is from another source.

Smacker going into her SR year of HS was just my personal opinion of her definitely not wanting to change states for her senior year.
