Can someone please explain to me why think Tennessee won’t match whatever we would offer? Not sure is we the reason of him leaving for LSU. He would just bail for the Ou job anyway

1. I’m sure they would, this move wouldn’t really make sense for him. Probably extension hunting

I don’t want him I think he’s a notorious choker BUT it’s been made publicly that something went down between him and OU and that bridge was blown sky high then set on fire and the ashes were then poured into the river to float down stream.

Kiffin was given a massive NIL budget to go buy the best defense in the SEC to go with his offense. Ole Miss lost 3 games and missed the playoffs while Heupel took Tennessee there.
If this search were in November of 2024 everyone would be saying Kiffin isn’t worth half of what’s being discussed because he can’t win big.

I don't think there's a chance in hell Heupel is next HC at LSU, but what about his resume is worse than Kiffin's?

Our offenses would be fun, we’d probably make the playoffs every 3-4 years, but we’d never win a natty.
