Yeah that’s my biggest issue. But maybe this is for the best. If Kelly comes here and wins a championship and then retires, then you distance yourself from all the bullshite and hopefully have elevated your standards of the program in the process.
It’s not a sexy hire, but you aren’t taking home the fat chick at the end of the night either.

Could end up being a home run. I’ll reserve any hate but I do understand fans being underwhelmed. If he keeps this class together/lands some other big time guys by ESD, a lot of people will get on board quick.

In all of his time at ND he’s faced 11 top 10 opponents. His record against them is 3-8. Most of those losses by 14 or more. Miles had a better overall record at LSU than Kelly does at ND. What makes this a home run? Is it just because we were able to poach him from ND when no one though it was possible?
