Can the he hates recruiting narrative die? He was our best recruiter and if not for Lincoln Riley being an absolute scumbag Caleb Williams likely stays committed and Brady doesn’t look negatively at recruiting.

It was a chain reaction of Williams choosing ou and Brady was rightfully angry that he came up empty handed after all those flights to dc. Now it’s all about paying players and more structured like nfl, you can let a gm a la Austin Thomas manage roster you tell him what you want . He gets the players and organizes everything and he coaches.

I think you can get him .

Once you get settled into the NFL, there's no reason to come back to college. Better schedule, an actual offseason, better money at the coordinator positions, oddly enough more stability and no recruiting.

$$$

He would be paid 5X the salary he currently makes if he became HC at LSU, Florida or Penn State.

That's a pretty big reason to come back.

That said, I do not want.

And would have to work 4-5 years to make what he could earn in a single year as a college head coach.

Moreover, if that contract is fully guaranteed, he walks away a very rich man should the school choose to terminate.
