I’m 100% certain the decision has been made and the relevant parties know already. I doubt he stays at OM because if he is waiting until Saturday makes no sense. Where he goes I have no idea. I believe LSU, but then again I’ve been living in this echo chamber for a week. So there’s that.

Anyone with a single functioning brain cells knows that not only is LSU vetting other candidates back channel communications are ongoing. That's how these things work.
I remember an AD (not sure it was an LSU AD) say that an AD always had a continuously updated list of 5 or so new head coaches in his desk.

Why do they have to say anything publicly, unless they sign someone. They definitely she reach out to others to gage their interest in the job, but I wouldn’t make anything public.
