Yea they seem to think he was some ace recruiter but I don’t recall him to be that. I remember when he was here back early in the Miles days he was never mentioned by recruits but he seemed to do a good job nonetheless.
Sounds like Michigan is getting pretty desperate

Michigan waited too long waiting to see if they’d beat OSU and continue keeping the Moore drama under wraps.

I wonder if his cousin Jeff said no but ask Todd.

Yes, please. Make the hire, Michigan.

Did the former Utah coach resign for some reason we don’t know?
I don’t understand why he wouldn’t be the first call you make. Even if it’s with the understanding of stabilizing the program for a few years
Seems like an absolute home run hire considering the timing and circumstances

The private equity deal pissed him off

Actually wouldn't hate it if I were them. He's had success as a coordinator in the Big 12, SEC, and NFL. Great with QBs. He cleaned up an absolute shite show when he was head HC at Southern Miss.
For those who don't remember they replaced Fedora with Ellis Johnson and went 0-12.
Monken won 9 games in year 3 and Southern Miss hasn't won 9 games in a year since.
Monken would be a massive upgrade over Moore and has way more potential than promoting fatass full time.

They'll back up the money truck for Brohm. Dont care if he is Louisville bred and all that crap. Michigan can and has won titles, with plenty NIL cash. Louisville thinks its a stud program, but in reality, they're nothing but a stunt c*ck..

I'm with you. It would be a pretty good hire to pull monken from Baltimore. His style fits with what Michigan wants to do with that pro style system.

The game has changed. He won’t be recruiting so much. He’ll be evaluating and making offers. Boosters will give him space. Michigan doesn’t have a reputation for meddling boosters.

What? Do you even Rich Rod or Brady Hoke? They absolutely do meddle and they expect everyone to act like a “Michigan Man” which he certainly is not.

I think him or Jeff Monken could be successful at Michigan

THIS is what a tarnished brand looks like. The Michigan job is not nearly as attractive right now as it used to be. Couple that with the timing of all this and their options aren’t great.
