I agree he has peaked at state with the current situation in the sec. But is Colorado a better job than state at this time?

If he leaves I think he takes the BC job. I know they have reported in Globe he is a favorite, of about 4.

If Colorado's administration ever gets their shite together Colorado's potential > Moo St's potential. Maybe he wants to get out since Ole Miss and Freeze made him look so stupid this year.

Colorado has immense potential as a program.

If the faculty / administration of the school decides to loosen the restrictions they have on recruiting, that program could ascend, IMO.

Weird move, though - I would think Mullen could get a better job opportunity somewhere else.

Why isn't his name more prevalent in the Tennessee coaching search? Makes way more sense than a guy like Mike Gundy, who seems to have found his name on every article that lays out UT's top possibilities.

One of the rumors is because the NCAA is sniffing around Mississippi State and we can't really afford to get in more trouble.

By the way, I don't have any clue why Mullen would come out here. Jon Embree had to bring his own desk from home and buy bottled water for his assistants because the university wouldn't.

What's he doing to do at CU where they have very little commitment to athletics?

Yep that's why they hired Jon Embree two years ago

Colorado hasn't had a winning season in 7 years. Plus they are now in the PAC-12 this job is not appealing and no way near as good of a job as Mississippi State

Not when you have to make chicken salad out of chicken sh*t and are only given a couple of years to do it.

Right now, Colorado and Kansas might be the 2 worst football programs. Mullen has peaked at Ms.State ... but Colorado?

This. As long as we get Hud I wouldn't care if Mullen left. Would prefer it actually...I think Hud is a better coach.

I wouldn't say Mullen has peaked either...we have a lot of young players that are very talented and were pretty highly rated coming out of HS. Our recruiting class last year was good, and this years class looks to be his best class yet. Currently 14th on Scout. A few years of classes like that and he could win more games.

Is there a worse program in D1?

Didnt Colorado win a NC in the 1990s? It cannot be that bad of a program.

If Merlins recruits along the DLine at Colorado like he did in the SEC, he would win the PAC 12.
